Situated in the scenic village of Stechelberg in the Bernese Oberland, The Alpenhof is a simple mountain house with basic facilities and offers budget accommodation, free private parking and a 'pause'... I am still dreaming about my stay at this guesthouse. it’s a wonderful chalet nested at the end of the valley (by public transport) and the vistas around are simply magical. The house is absolutely fabulous, with a lounge area and a dining room with wooden tables and a fabulous heating system. This was my cozy spot where I spent many hours reading. Downstairs there is a large communal kitchen, with everything you can dream of to cook. (plates cutlery are in dining room). Upstairs there are 2 levels with rooms and dorms. I had a room with 2 beds, totally comfy. Shared bathrooms and toilets are spotless, 2nd floor is for men, 3rd for women. (1st and 2nd floor if you count stairs like European). Hot water operates with a 1fr coin, for me 5min was plenty of time. Bring a towel as these are not available. also good to bring slippers as shoes are left on ground floor upon entering (which was wonderful). And then there is Diane, owner of the guesthouse, who was graciousness incarnated. A big thank you also to the woman who was cleaning the days I was there, super friendly! a major highlight of my time in Switzerland! NB: the house is old (hence the charm) and noise travels. Be considerate for your fellow roommates, and keep voices down at night, and walk lightly!

Pension Hotel Restaurant Sunnmatt is located in Aeschi, 1 km from the Aeschiried Ski Lift, and offers accommodation with mountain views, a garden with a terrace, free WiFi and private parking on site.... Super clean , very nice breakfast and staffs

Offering modern, tastefully styled rooms in a traditional chalet, this BnB can be found 300 metres from the Wilderswil-Dorf bus stop. We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful chalet in Wilderwil, Switzerland, and it truly felt like a home away from home, thanks to our hosts, Mr. Fritz and Mrs. Gabi. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like we were staying with close family or friends. The village of Wilderwil is a sight to behold, with its mesmerizing beauty that captures the essence of Switzerland's enchanting landscapes. 😍 The facilities at the chalet were more than adequate, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast featuring authentic Swiss cuisine—absolutely loved the bread, butter, and sausages! *While a bit more variety day-to-day would have been appreciated, the authentic taste of the food, provided a delightful compensation for the limited selection.. 😉 Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we highly recommend this chalet to anyone looking to experience genuine Swiss hospitality in a picturesque setting. We're already looking forward to our next visit with Mr. Fritz and Mrs. Gabi! 😇

Set at 2,225 metres above sea level, Berghaus Männlichen offers a sun terrace with great views of the Swiss Alps, a self-service restaurant, and a children’s playground. The hotel is very pleasant, very clean, nicely decorated, and the location is of course incredible. Plus, the staff is fantastic. Definitely an excellent hotel.

On a cliffside at 1650 meters height in the Bernese Oberland Alps, Mürren is a secret that has been coveted for decades by adventurers from all around the world. It was quaint but tastefully furnished, and very clean. The bathroom was clean and spacious - not something we’ve experienced in Switzerland generally (bathrooms tend to be on the small side). My sister was very pleased with the bathroom and said she didn’t feel like she had no space to turn for once! The room was really wonderful. And even the communal bathroom on the first floor was spotless, nice-smelling (rose petal scent) and such a pleasure to use. The property seems to be family-run and we were welcomed very warmly. The lady at the front desk (Ruth?) made us feel particularly at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - I will most certainly stay here again if I visit Murren again, and will also recommend it to my friends and family!

The Alpenblick hotel is a typical, quiet and small Swiss Chalet hotel in Mürren, offering superb views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. Great little family run hotel very close to Murren train station... comfortable rooms with all the modern fittings...the breakfast was limited but adequate and all fresh..we had dinner on 2 of our 3 nights there and enjoyed it very much

Very well located to explore the area!

This historic Swiss mountain cottage in Gimmelwald can be found next to the cable car connecting the village of Stechelberg to the Schilthorn summit. We loved the quiet location and the atmosphere of Pension Gimmelwald. Sabine was the best hostess ever!
