The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. After spending a few days in the busy city of Lisabon, it was a great place to enjoy some quite nature. The area is very beautiful and the farm has lots of cute animals. The accomondation has a great pool and there is a lake nearby. The room was very nice (the arconditioning is a big bonus). We also enjoyed the love our hosts had for a sustainable way of living. They work very hard, with all their passion, and we were so greatfull to experience their way of living. Would definitely recommend!

Casa do Prado - a very pleasant welcome from our hosts Silvia & Ruud. They went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable and offered an abundance of information. A few relaxing days at this very charming accommodation. So pleasing to see people take on a business and give it 100% commitment to their guests. Terrific that we could park the car and easy walk into town with the festival taking place. Relaxing areas and above ground pool for those warm days. Large garden area and outdoor sitting area. So nice to spend time in their company and Tomar. Highly recommended

The villa was amazing!! It felt like home, and the views were the best yet, throughout our three week visit to Portugal! The hosts answered our needs via text, within a few minutes! There was a wonderful varieto of local bread, cheese, milk, juice, and a nice bottle of wine to welcome us! I would absolutely return to this villa when we visit Portugal once again. The balconies, beautifully unique and fun decorations, and kitchen were impecable! The beds were so comfy, we didn't want to leave. Thank you!!

The staff were communicative in advance via WhatsApp. All super clear and keyless entry. Brilliant. The croissants at breakfast were delicious! Dinner recommendation 200m close-by: The "Curry Indian House" was one of the best kitchens I've had the pleasure to taste. Ganesh the owner has put together a phenomenal open kitchen. Art deco glass in the back. Out of the front door of Thomar House, and 200m to the right. 100% recommended Thomar House for the more discerning guests. 😎👌🏼

Also lovely to stay in this recently renovated and charming building with outstanding views of the Castelo de Tomar. The breakfast was really good - plentiful and lovely local bread and croissants! Anabel was a very attentive and friendly hostess and on hand whenever needed.

It has a perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for us to walk all the way to the city centre. As for the farm, it has an elegant and tasteful decoration, a swimming pool with immense sun exposure and super quiet and two hosts with great pleasure to receive. I recommend!

The hostess, Fernanda, was a delight! We had some conversations with her and she is a great host that wants you to feel at home and at ease. Because it's close to Tomar, but still in a more quiet village, you can have the joys of the city but not the downsides :-).
