What a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful chalet style accommodation, huge rooms with 2 bathrooms and amazing views. The people are lovely and kind and the breakfast is just incredible, with amazing home baked treats. A short walk into Merano and beautiful nature trails starting just behind the accommodation. You will be well rested, well fed and a bit happier if you stay here!

We enjoyed staying in a really unique room which inspired us to think about the history of this place, their inhabitants, nuns and monks. The owner is very nice and helpful, she took time to show us the old church and explained the history of the property. Close to the monestary there is a wonderful, even mystical garden full of lavandas, rosemarin, roses and other Mediterranean plants. Also the breakfast was delicious and served in an antique dinning room. Everything was super clean. We spent wonderful time in the rifugio and if comming back to Cividale, we will definitely choose again to stay here. If you like historical places and like to try something unusual, this place is worth trying.
