Set in Vasto and only 1.3 km from Vasto Marina Beach, Il Parco degli Ulivi offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Great parking right outside the room. Nice clean room & very friendly host. Property is located just outside Vasto, between the town and the sea about 15 mins walk uphill to the town or downhill to the sea. For us, the location was perfect.

Hostess was lovely and helpful and thank goodness for Google translate. The venue had been picked for personal reasons due to its location to the River Sangro where there was fierce fighting in November 1943. The views across the plain, towards the mountains were superb and certainly gave a good idea of the terrain. Our room was perfect, had everything we needed. We asked for dinner and were fed like royalty. A delicious 3 course meal served with beer, wine and copious supplies of water. Breakfast the next morning, all you could want. Second night's meal we opted to sit outside and watch the sun go down. A magnificent 3 course meal again with beer, wine etc. We fully expected a much higher charge when we came to pay the bills as we had not thought to question cost but were very pleasantly surprised. Would certainly stay again if in the area.

De location was beautiful, de house was nice and comfortable (in regards to the pictures, I booked the smallest room :-) others where way more spacious but it was exactly what I needed), and Anna Maria does everything to make it a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I was there for my master's study and was working on an excavation from early in the morning till end of day. She arranged breakfast to go, provided me with a lovely coffee before leaving and showed me where I could find some breakfast.
