I loved the location (close to absolutely all the important sights) and the staff. The place is very clean. Great view of the canal right from your window. We received 2 bottles of Proseco in our room. The front desk person gives you all the information you will need to make your way through Venice. Everything you should avoid or see. They also give you restaurants, sight seeing locations that the locals use. The entire staff is super friendly and speak fluent English. They will accommodate any requests you may have.

Venezia Santa Lucian rautatieasemalta 6 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä sijaitseva Leone Hotel tarjoaa ilmastoituja huoneita, joissa on ilmainen WiFi. Perfect little hotel located close (5 min) to the Santa Lucia station. The rooms are recently renovated and clean. I loved the little window on the roof, it provided the nice view of the stars at night.

We were surprised that since our room lock was not working, they immediately provided us with another room which was bigger, but with no extra price. It was very pleasant, and we did not have to wait until they fix the lock - this was important since we were tired from the road and wanted to have a rest and eat, without wasting time. In the new room there was a lot of drinking water. Thank you for this!
