The location is perfect in the Old City, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely worth it! I strongly recommend it for a visit to Plovdiv, I wish we could spend more than one night there.

The host of this property really made our stay, and we can't emphasize the importance of this enough. Even before we came, we asked a few questions, and he took them very seriously and incorporated our personal concerns into our stay, in ways that no other hotel did. Moreover, he was able to give us a lot of practical information about Plovdiv, Bulgaria as a whole, and even Serbia. He also makes breakfast personally, so it's possible to ask for something specific. TL;DR: It's extremely rare to see a hotelier who cares this much about their guests and their needs and wants. This alone gives the place a 10. Also: * Impeccable cleanliness * Good location right next to the old town * Several parking spots available

Hotel Alafrangite is located in Plovdiv’s Old Town, just a 6-minute walk from the city centre. The property has a large garden which hosts live music performances during summer. Beautiful surround in the Old Town. Very cozy atmosphere and friendly stuff! Clean, nice comfortable beds. Rooms are warm even in the winter! Breakfast was good and big!

Belle Ville Hotel is situated in Plovdiv's old town, in a reconditioned historical building and offers free WiFi in the rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Booked my taxi when I left, showed me where to get the taxi outside the pedestrian zone, made me a packed breakfast and rang to check I got to the bus station ok. Wonderful location for hotel and Bulgarian revival style so characterful.
