Very helpful staff. Nice bright room with very comfortable beds. We really enjoyed the dipping pool on the roof too. Breakfast was excellent. Also we had hired a car and parking around the hotel was easy to find. All in all a really nice small boutique hotel.

A lovely town with great restaurants and bars, shops and some lovely old buildings. Good public transport links - train, bus and boat - to nearby towns, villages and beaches. It can be busy, but it has a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Tavira is nice, but the stones polished by decades of cars and foot traffic made the sloping sidewalks/roads feel almost treacherous. This is not the location to get away from freezing rain. Some of the old area in the east side is undergoing upgrades to the water system, which means it may be dusty.

Cute little city full of 70 year old tourists.
Cute little city full of 70 year old tourists. Few restaurants other than Indian food. Little shopping. Beaches nice but very difficult to access. Pararia do barrill involves street parking then walking a half mile to a train which will take you 1 mile to the beach for 2eu each way. Or you can walk on a slanted broken walkway all the way. At the beach there is one overpriced restaurant.
Overall Tavira is Not family friendly at all.

We are scoping out retirement options so were looking for walkability and reliable public transportation. Tavira offers both! Local market is full of fresh meat, fish, fruits and vegetables along with wares such as baskets and cut flowers. Lots of restaurants and shops. Walking distance to train which we took to the eastern border then hopped a ferry to Spain for lunch. We opted out of the hotel breakfast and found a cafe across the river for coffee and avocado toast one day, another day we went to the Pingo Doce grocery store for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. We tried a different restaurant for dinner every night and every meal was fantastic. If we had to do it over again, we would not have rented a car. The metro, train and bus system is reliable and comfortable as well as much cheaper and less stressful.

Loved the Friendliness in this nice quaint old town, unfortunately the roads / streets were in process of being dug up & left rather unsafe ( we witnessed a lady falling).. lots of cobbled streets which were left unfinished. Hopefully they will complete soon for travellers & residents to enjoy this lovely town.

Tavira is full of character and has an obvious love of its history and heritage. It offers the opportunity to have a beach holiday without it being forced upon you. Wander down all the back streets and find new places.
We mostly self-catered but there are many restaurants with differing cuisines. Take a punt - it will probably pay off. If you like octopus take a trip to Santa Luzia just 3km away. It is a charming fishing port and the octopus catching centre of Portugal
Amazing breakfast, made and prepared with love and you can feel it! Ana and her team are really great and make us feel welcome and at home! I loved the home made different breads, the vegan cheese, marmeladess, all the great options for vegan and vegetarians, salads and papaia fruit from the forest food of the hotel!
The breakfast there was the best meals we hat in Tavira! we were always looking forward to have it!
The plants that surround the hotel are stunning too!
We liked everything about this property. We needed a place to relax after a busy 6 days touring around portugal and the OZADI was perfect. There are food and drinks available close to the pool. Poolside was very relaxing. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It had a nice balcony with view of the pool. There was a great selection of food for breakfast and the roof top seating has spectacular views
This is a compact and well-equipped place benefiting from some private outside space.
The hosts were attentive and friendly.
The location was convenient and local parking was free.
Tavira is a pleasant base from which to explore the lovey Eastern Algarve
We felt we were in authentic Portugal not just some tourist development based in Portugal.
This hotel is wonderful! The building is gorgeous with plenty of space for guests. Every staff member was pleasant and aimed to satisfy your needs! We needed to catch a cab prior to breakfast when checking out. The staff provided us a light breakfast a half hour prior to our cab - example of excellent customer care.
if you want to escape the masses in the typical beach resorts this is the place for you. A permaculture farm where the staff is very friendly and there to satisfy your needs. I really recommend this cute boutique hotel for a different kind of experience in Algarve. You won’t regret it - very peaceful and relaxing :)
A charming hotel with charming staff. More than met our expectations. Welcome personal, decor full of old world Portuguese character and seating indoor and out door areas comfortable and luxurious. Location perfect for exploring the town of beautiful Tavira and taking the ferry to the island beach.
It was very central to Tavira. Lovely clean hotel. Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Complimentary drink for all the family on arrival. Lovely swimming pool. Breakfast was plentiful and very varied and it was lovely to sit up on the terrace to enjoy the beautiful views
Jose was truly the best host. He has such pride in his transformed family property. His love for his role and attention to detail is unmatched. The property is beautiful, centrally located and has everything you need. Super easy to park your car. It is a must book if you stay in Tavira.
Very cozy and clean place. The location is very nice, extremely quiet and, at the same time, near the city center and main attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing guidance to visit the city. I definitely recommend for a get away in Portugal.
It is the most fabulous hotel right at the heart of Tavira with the possibility to use the kitchen (if you like to prep your own meals) and a breathtaking rooftop terrace. the staff is just lovely and extremely helpful. best choice in Tavira!
The location was very centrally located near Tavira and the outdoor pool was nice with a comfortable, shaded patio area adjacent. The breakfast buffet had a very good, extensive selection which is par-for-the-course at most Portuguese hotels.
Beds very comfy and breakfast really good ..didn’t get to the pool but had look ..really very well kept .and indoor pool excellent. Staff lovely ..overall a good 2 days stay as we were traveling around Portugal staying at diffrent places
Older hotel located on the river. Rooms were small but adequate. Many restaurants, shops and attractions within a 10 minute walk. The ferry terminal to Tavira Island is located in front of the hotel.
It is very beautiful And tasteful, like a 'boutique' style hotel.
The pool and surrounds are lovely.
Nice simple breakfast on the terrace.
Easy access to Tavira and all the restaurants to eat
the bones are beautiful but they have not decorated or added luxury to elevate it beyond an old hotel. breakfast was nice. staff very helpful. good location.
