Wonderful location in Arles and easy to park the motorcycle. A proper French town hotel on a lovely little square. Great pool area and so nice to be in the centre of all the atmosphere. I didn’t take breakfast here side I had to leave early but it’s great value at only 7 euro by the pool so I should have got up earlier!

Beautiful, walkable city retaining its character with numerous roman ruins and historic sites. Fun to explore tiny side streets and great restaurants. Watch out for the Mistral - you might need layers or a warmer jacket!

It doesn’t get so many tourists but tourist traps abound. But if you look selectively for a good restaurant you will find several and we had four outstanding dinners. It’s small but cozy and clean with lots of cute squares for tea or a drink. Several good museums and roman monuments. Four days is not too long.

The Easter feria is a good time to visit Arles, although food and service can be as low as 'poor'. Plenty of culture from Roman ruins to street bands. Excellent and elegant Museum of Arles. Wonderful street market on Saturdays with high quality goods. Shops, ranging from very high end local produce and clothing, to convenience stores, most open all (public holiday) weekend.

Arles is just gorgeous, but I also really recommend a guided trip into the Camargue, stunning nature and history. We were guided by Christophe from the official guide association, great experience. Also, the saturday market is a must! A lot of great things on offer to take with you on a picknick in the country-side just outside of Arles!

Charming city. Easy walk to all sights.
Charming city. Easy walk to all sights. Interesting Roman ruins and beautiful Romanesque church. Excellent archeological museum. Welcoming and helpful people. Beautiful little shops. Highly recommended.
The Hotel is on a nice little square right in the center of Arles, a two minute walk away from the Amphitheatre. Perfect to explore the city. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and helpful! There is a place to store your bike. The breakfast is good! Croissant, baguette, fromage, yoghurt, fresh fruit, everything you need. You can eat inside or outside on the terrace. Very nice! If I ever come to Arles again, I would always come back here!
The hotel is located on the left river of the Rhone. This is a good solution if you come by car, in fact in this area parking is free and the center of Arles is 15/20 minutes walking. The room was clean and nice, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was nice and called us in advance to know if the check-in had to be done after 20:00. This is why at night the stuff is not present in the hotel.
Hotel du Forum is centrally located. The hotel itself is "old world charm", which may not appeal to some -- So if you're looking for modern, this may not be the hotel for you. The hotel staff are wonderful and very helpful. Everything is within walking distance, but a cab ride to/from the train station is almost essential, if you have luggage. I would stay here again.
The hotel has loads of atmosphere, and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable - there was also a fridge which was handy. Plenty of hanging space. The breakfast was great. The hotel is located on a quiet street near the main square (Place de la Republique). The heating was excellent - this is important as Arles is very cold and windy in February.
The staff was very friendly and was prepared to speak english, which can be handy when your french is rusty. The room was cleaned very good every day. The hotel has its own secured parking. Location is very close to the city centre. Bakeries is close proximity. The garden is very nice with shade and sun. A nice little oasis.
Very welcoming staff and the hotel is like a cultural center right in the middle of Arles, next to the amphitheater. Beautiful cafe’ overlooking Arles and enjoying the daily life of Arles. Great breakfast, varied and healthy.
And there is a spa with a very lush Roman bath with the view of the Amphiteater.
Comfortable, spacious with beautiful living room, patio, dining room. Quiet and peaceful, with amenities nearby, and just across the Rhône from the busy parts of Arles. Exceptional host, personable, fun, friendly, with excellent suggestions of places to go, things to see and do, places to eat.
Hotel de l'Anglais was our very favorite stay in a three week tour across southern France. Filipe and Pierrick went far beyond the standard of service we would have expected. The hotel is a beautiful renovation and infused with modern style and comfort.
Firstly staff were amazing. Especially in the restaurant, reception and bar. They tried their best with a shabby out of date dirty hotel. The location was good for exploring Arles city. The packed lunch option was a good idea for exploring the area.
Such a lovely central place to say and really helpful staff! I also appreciated that they park your car for you when you take the hotels parking option. It’s not easy manoevering around Arles!
Beautiful studio apartment with view of Roman arena. Fabulous, responsive host. All amenities. Full kitchen. Desk and kitchen table. Central location for all of Arles.
The staff was terrific. The hotel and room were full of character. The location was perfect for visiting the arena and ancient theater. The bed was comfortable.
We came for the Arles Photo festival, even the hotel not the closest for Arles downtown, but that hotel was the best! Clean, comfortable, very nice staff!!!
