I had a lovely stay at the hotel, the view from the top floor was superb, the staff was very kind and helpfull. The free parking space was very important for me since I was with a car. The location of the hotel is excellent - close to everythig in the spa zone yet on a quiet street. The brekfast was tasty and was served in the small and cosy breakfast room. Karlovy Vary owes its affluent grandeur to no fewer than 13 hot springs and a warm water river. Add to this its colourful façades and tree-lined hill setting, and it’s easy to see why it’s one of Europe’s most sophisticated spa towns.
The best views are from the Deer Leap and Diana Tower lookouts, both high above the Grandhotel Pupp, a famous 5-star hotel which starred as James Bond’s gambling retreat in ‘Casino Royale’. It also hosts an International Film Festival, but the city is really about the waters, a fact reflected in its English name – Carlsbad.
You can take the waters at the 5 springs under the Mill Colonnade, and the wrought-iron Market Colonnade houses 2 more. The Park Colonnade employs a similarly impressive style to protect 3 springs, while a geyser bursts up in the Hot Spring Colonnade. The Castle Tower overlooks the Castle Colonnade waters, and a thermal pool at Spa Hotel Thermal overlooks the city.
The beautiful churches of Karlovy Vary include the Russian-styled Church of St Peter and St Paul. The Moser Glassworks produce suitably high quality products, and the Jan Becher Museum provides an idea of what to fill them with – local Becherovka bitter.
Accommodation on Booking.com includes luxury hotels, city centre apartments and guest houses near Karlovy Vary Airport.

Karlovy Vary is a fabulous place, full of beautiful historical buildings. Additionally you can treat yourself with a mineral water pouring from the many fountains that you'll pass during a city walk - just remember to have your own cup or other vessel for water. We were quite astonished that Karlovy Vary is a kind of colony for reach Russians, and when you walk through the city the dominant language that you hear is Russian. If you'd like to experience local Czech cultures and traditional Czech food, it's just a walk away from the center.

The city itself is beautiful.
The city itself is beautiful. Its location at the riverside with historical-looking buildings and hot springs is exceptional. However, what the city has in architecture, it lacks in facilities, especially restaurants. In general, there are only two major types of places where you can eat: beer houses and places serving Italian cuisine. The food in most of these is pretty good, but it is super expensive - two or three times pricier than what is considered normal in the rest of the country. I figure that you are paying extra for being served in the middle of nowhere at the national border, but it just felt too much. I now think of the city as being home to the posh millionaires who couldn't care less about how much they spend on food and other services.

You can make many trips around both with travel agencies and on your own, using the offers of the Karlovy Vary Card, which you can buy on the Internet. Be sure to visit the Becherevka Museum, the tasting in the morning was very useful) The food is very dense, but you can find a Georgian restaurant, sushi and wonderful desserts.
For health - The effect after taking medicinal water does not appear immediately, but it is very effective. Sleep was restored and body pain disappeared very quickly.

I wanted to stay at least 2 nights in the Karlovy Vary because we missed the spa and some historical point including the Goethe house and view point. However, it was great chance to taste the water of emperor and the original wafer snack.
The Savoy Westend Hotel was fabulous.
It is the best hotel in Karlovy Vary!
The staff was wonderful
Our spacious room was beautiful with a lovely view on Saint Peter and Paul Church.
The hotel is very beautiful, incredibly tidy and polished.
The Restaurant served amazing food
Huge thanks to the General manager Aleksander B. and reception manager pani Gabriela .
They were extremely helpful, kind and very professional they are super great customer friendly persons.
Great hotel in the very centre of Karlovy Vary. Surprisingly large and comfortable rooms at a very good price. Great breakfast, pool on the 5th floor with a great view. Atmosphere of an old early 20th century hotel with its own style. Liked it very much. Only issue is the car park is not right next to the hotel, just a covered public car park where they have spaces within a 5 min walk. But you can drive right up to the hotel door to unload luggage. So that wasn't a problem
Everything!
The apartment was very spacious and clean
All the amenities were either new or well-kept
The beds and pillows were great
Location - top notch, close to everything
Communication - on point. All the necessary information was provided, including instructions on how to use appliances
Honestly, probably in top 3 of my favorite places I've stayed at over the years. If I'm ever in Karlovy Vary, I'll definitely be staying here again
Spent 5 days in Czech Republic, of which we wanted to travel for 2 night to Karlovy Vary.
And after some researches, and after finding a good offer here on booking, we have booked two nights at Retro Resort.
What a joy!
Everything is spotless clean, staff is very helpful, SPA area very well equipped, breakfast is rather sensational.
Smoked salmon and prosecco to start with.
A Bolt ride from hotel to town center is around 10 Euros.
Beautiful and quiet apartment with extremely comfortable bed and sleeping sofa. Very tasteful, Scandinavian design and good quality materials - massive wood on bed and doors and good quality towels. Excellent location just in the middle of the town with good proximity to public transport and right next yo the best spa resort - Saunia in hotel Thermal. Very good communication with the staff.
Breakfast is incredible, so many options, it is rare in Czech Republic to find a good breakfast at the hotel. I must say that breakfast at Thermal was much better compared to Pupp, Savoy and etc.
What I also liked - new swimming pool, where you have an access for 3 hours each day. Room was clean and good with the great view.
The hotel was spotless and had large king size beds available. it also had covered parking and options for larger families which is what was needed. we also liked the idea of the spa options. I also loved that they had Czech wines available on the property. We went to a few places that had no Czech wine available at all.
The location was really great. The Spa and swimming pool were also nice. Although during the reservation I was told that all the park places are already booked, the hotel staff managed to give me a parking place just in front of the hotel which was quiet comfortable.
staff were always friendly and on hand to assist. they provided an extra heater for the room and toothpaste and extra shower gels. pool and spa facilities were great. dinner and breakfast were exceptional, the best dining i've ever experienced in a hotel
Spacious, comfy house in a very quiet area only 12mins drive from Karlovy Vary centre.
The host is super nice and really helpful.
Unfortunately we just stayed one night and we had to leave early so we missed the homemade pancakes for breakfast.
Good breakfast, good spa, room is spacious. Hotel is situated in a quite zone within a 15 min walking distance to the main street with all springs. Parking is a big plus as well. Spring water can be drank directly in the hotel.
the hotel was really beautiful, the breakfast was amazing and the spa too. the best was the staff of breakfast room and of the restaurant and bar. Area bar is amazing. The restaurant's cuisine is exceptional.
walk distance to forest, horses around, clean and spacious room, friendly staff, pet friendly, a good accommodation to relax and get away from city. 10mins driving distance to Karlovy vary city center.
The hotel is exactly in the middle of the historic part of Karlovy Vary which makes it excellent to walk around for restaurants etc. The spas are also a treat and great to have and highly recommend.
Super apartment! Comfortable, clean, spacious. We've appreciated different pleasant details: a big TV, a good coffee machine, umbrellas, special cups to drink Karlovy Vary mineral water etc.
The location was amazing, and it was a really good spot in town. All negatives aside if you want to be in the centre of Karlovy Vary, it's the right hotel. Rooms are spacious.
It was my second time here and I really love the Saunia spa as well as the hotel facilities. The location is central and close to everything. Breakfast was great.
