It was wonderful. The place was clean, we had a everything we nedeed for 7 days. The yard is so beautiful. The house has a history and it is a objectiv by itself. You will not regret if you choose to stay here. We had private space and time for relax. It is a parking lot for yourself. It is a perfect place for 2 couples. Filipe, the owner, is ready with all the information that you need. It is a supermarket at 500 m. and a traditional restaurant.

We had no car which was not a real problem as we took the local buses into Funchal and other places we wanted to go but if you do have a car it would even be easier. At the bottom of the lane was a great restaurant Katespero and they serve wonderful food and on days we couldn't face the walk back the owners gave us a lift home, so kind.

The water was also great, as hot as you would like and with pressure🙂
