They tried to make it works. The apartment is not very nice but they thought at all the details. You have lot of plugs to recharge the devices, hairdryer, and ropes to hang clothes

The hostess went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
She made a lovely breakfast with homemade foods and she even made us a to-go pack when we couldn’t finish our cake. Plus it was the only place we stayed with Tea and kettle in the room 😃

A lovely, picturesque town with amazing beach - finally one with no people. Completely different to Faro or Carvoeiro. Helpful people, great restaurants just right for the place. We highly recommend Taberna do Gabao.

The beach of Odeceixe sits a few km from Odeceixe, on the beach itself the variety and possibilities are limited, only a couple of restaurants, no real cafés, no shop to buy newspaper or any market available.
The beach itself is gorgeous and the cliff views are amazing, you even have the choice between a river or ocean beach next to each other.

Main beach lovely, Praia de Adega not very accesible, great views around but village somewhat rundown and totally dead at this time of year. Nowhere to go to eat except pastelaria for lunch time snack. Moving around Odeceixe is not easy. If I were to go again it woud definitely not be at Christmas/New Year.

We went mid January.
We went mid January. Most places were closed but we could see that at another time there would be a lot more choice of places to eat or stay. It's a pretty village with a steep climb to a preserved windmill. Great views from there. 3 km walk to the beach which is spectacular. Friendly villagers.

Odeciexe has beautiful beach, lots of back-packers seem to gravitate there. Avoid Casa Dorita accommodation at all costs, I can honestly say that when I was a young man I have stayed in far superior YMCA's
It reminds me of one of this flop houses you see in the movies.

Overnight motorhome/campervan parking now illegal in Portugal so angry about this. You can only park in authorised campsites. Otherwise I love Odeceixe - back to nature, village has good restaurants and bars. If no transport it takes around 30 to 40 minutes to walk to beaches where there are cafes and shops. Rota Vibcentina cliff top walk on other side of estuary has stunning views across the Atlantic and is the only place in Europe where storks nest on coastal cliffs.
We had been looking for accommodation in Odeceixe but this was far better for us - out in the country in lovely relaxing surroundings but just ten minutes drive from town.
The bed was extremely comfortable, we had a large bathroom with a big walk in shower and the blackout curtains were very efficient.
finally the staff were very friendly and helpful. I celebrated my birthday during the stay and was touched to receive a cake with breakfast
Loved the location and the ocean view. We loved our simple room with private bath & balcony just steps away from the beach! Also very much enjoyed the cafe downstairs and the delicious breakfast that was included. The complimentary water was also much appreciated. We had an amazing dinner at the cafe and wonderful memories to treasure of our time in Odeceixe!
Very clean, beautifully furnished, newly refurbished & comfortable room with a fantastic breakfast. We had a very warm welcome from the owner Fernando. The hotel is in the centre of the town, very easy to park a few minutes walk away. There are some lovely restaurants all within walking distance & the stunning beach at Odeceixe is a 10 minute drive.
The unexpected great ambiance. The hotel is a very nicely renovated row of houses. The hotel is small but very comfortable with a tasteful interior design. A great surprise was the Michelin level restaurant is this small hotel. A great and delicious experience. The tiny villa is next to a river which ends in the ocean with a great beach to enjoy.
We received an incredibly warm welcome from the owner. The room and terraces were large, clean and well equipped. Loved the breakfasts. View from our room was beautiful. The owner operates a small vegetable farm nearby. We walked to the beach (perhaps three km each way). Little cafes and shops at the beach for shade and refreshments.
The position is great. Quite ok for a night stay or if you are a passionate surfer and need a place to crush and dry things.- bathroom is huge. Worth mentioning that Odeceixe is one of the best places I travelled so far, and this made me wish having a better accommodation. Will be going back there to stay longer
The hotel is in a beautiful spot, beside a gorgeous beach and attached to restaurant with big patio. However, be forewarned it can be very windy and cold here. We were in adjacent town scorching hot but by time we got to beach we needed all the clothes we brought! The breakfast was very good.
Odeceixe is a great place for a visit to the beautiful coast nearby. The self check in was easy and the two parking lots were useful. The room had a small terrace and complimentary coffee and juices. Nice bars and restaurants are in town for the meals. Quiet place during the night.
Friendly owner and staff, well located for beautiful beaches, small towns and good restaurants. clean and well decorated outdoor area and rooms, delicious breakfast with local products, quiet , comfortable outdoor patios off rooms as well as peaceful pool area, value for money.
Super helpful family runs this small, intimate hotel. It is nicely situated at the edge of town for hikers on the fisherman’s trail. The rooms are small but functional and exceptionally clean. Beds are firm. This was my best night sleep of the trip.
Beautiful stop over on our trip from Lagos to Lisbon offering an adventurous walk to the beach through pine forest and sand dunes. A wake up call of the roosters and angry goose and eating fruit straight off the tree and a delicious breakfast.
The house is very spacious and has an outside terrace, the kitchen was equipped and it was clean. The location is right in the town and it is within walking distance of restaurants and to get to the beach you will need a car.
Appeared recently renovated and spotlessly clean. Close to the center of town but accessible by reasonably sized cobblestone streets. Parking was across the street. Full kitchen. Nice place.
A very simple hotel with a clean and large room. The place is very well located in Odeceixe. The breakfast is good. Most of all, the lady who owns the place is very kind and helpful !
The Casa is just up the street from the center of town. it was clean, comfortable and quiet. They serve a generous breakfast in the morning. The señora is very warm and welcoming.
