Herdade da Duabroria is set about 6km from Beja beside a tranquil lake and working farm. The rooms are arranged around a courtyard and we were lucky enough to have enjoyed a view of the lake The rooms were spacious with a firm but comfortable bed and a separate seating area and small fridge. The bathroom consisted of both a shower and bath which would be a real treat in colder weather. The pool area was beside the lake so a perfect place to relax and unwind in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was delicious. On first glance there didn't seem a huge choice but in fact the kitchen staff were happy to oblige, making eggs of your choice to order. Scrambled eggs were available and absolutely delicious! The produce was high quality with fresh fruit, delicious cheese, hams, rolls and cakes on offer. Coffee was available on request and staff were happy to oblige with hot water to fill up our French press pit which we'd taken having read a few negative reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Thank you!

Very quiet. Staff were helpful when required. Breakfast and dinner was good Other reviews said the food was expensive but 4 course and 2 glasses of wine for €30 was more than worth it. I would go back for a long weekend with my wife

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel with our family this weekend. Despite an initial overbooking of the family rooms we had reserved, the hotel graciously upgraded us to a 3-bedroom villa. The upgrade was a pleasant surprise, and we appreciated the gesture. The hotel facilities and environment were amazing. The kids' pool was one of the best we’ve seen, and as parents, we felt very safe. Our children absolutely loved it. The overall ambiance of the hotel was delightful, making our stay lovely and memorable.
