Phil was an exceptional host! We had the best breakfast (huge variety and delicious)! Loch Vista is a very interesting place that caters to every type of traveler. He has a books to satisfy the bookworms, a pet sheep that's the cutest, an interesting collection of vehicles, and a cozy living room for chit chat. Not to mention, a wonderful patio and lake view! The stay at Phil's was so enjoyable it was extremely tough to leave. Would certainly be back in the Summer!

Well what a beautiful scenic place. We felt like we were in a hidden paradise. The hot tub was fantastic and the view was spectacular. All staff were extremely friendly and loved to stop and have a chat. The breakfast the drinks at the bar were all fantastic. Cannot fault this place

Kitchen is well equipped, the duvet and blanket is very warm. Thanks to the reminder that we need 2 hours' driving to get to Milford Sound, we arrived at the cruise terminal on time. The location is nice, we got to see the sun shining on the mountains at sunrise, and the view is great.
