I was made to feel at home with such a hospitable family! There was a lot of information for what to see in Tansen and around the area and was helped to get to places outside of town. The food here is amazing! Would highly recommend staying here

Don't hesitate. Book! Best place to stay in 5 weeks of travel. Tansen is a fabulous place to visit but made even more so by staying at this guesthouse. Both Jenny and her dad are not just kind and friendly but knowledgeable about the area and spent time each day helping us make plans. Trek to Rani Mahal worth the sweat!
Our room had own flower filled balcony/ patio. Powerful fan and hot water shower. We were provided with a great breakfast each morning and Jenny was always keen to hear about what we might like and how to make City View even better!
Little touches like ornaments and books in the room made it super cosy.
Our stay felt like a breath of fresh air.

Tansen is a very friendly traditional mountain town, no tourist pretence here, a working Nepal town, for a true Nepal experience. Lots of winding streets with culture and small scale commerce, with a lovely pine forest above the town with views over central Nepal and the Himalayas.
