Balaclava is remote so no opportunity to walk anywhere. We were fine with a good dinner and the occasional musician but some might find it boring. We used a driver but if not then you’d need a car to get round the island. wonderful and chearful resort design, I liked it so much.
wonderful and chearful resort design, I liked it so much. there are free and paid activities it is very good for families. 12 minutes from seewoosagur ramgoolam botanic garden and 15 minutes from port luis by taxi. there are 2 resturants and bar on the beach, there is delicious hot snack bufffet ( 4 - 5 pm).

Staff: super friendly!! Accommodation: clean 8/10, Bed: super comfortable, Dinner: very good but far to expensive for the island!! I really wouldn’t recommend the buffet for dinner! Breakfast is the only thing I’d criticize: no variety, no creativity, no changes, the quality of the food 5/10 Example: No pork bacon, vegetables: tomatoes and cucumbers ... that’s it, olives came picked and from the can... just not a 5 star Quality breakfast!!

Beautiful resort with views of the beach from the room. There was many things to do in the resort so one can spent all the time in the resort itself. The only problem we faced was with drinking water, it is delivered only once to your room and then only other option is in the room bar which can add to be really expensive. Otherwise highly recommended resort.
