Great value for money and a very friendly host. The apartment is very big, though we didn't use much. WiFi is also provided and the balconies are nice. Neighbours are friendly and quiet. The AC unit works very well. Having a fridge is useful too. If you simply need a place to stay for the night, this works.

Charming and relaxed town - so glad we came to stay! TJ Boutique was a perfect, clean, comfortable way to end our visit in Malta and was less than 20 mins from the airport. We were great location to walk to salt flats and St Thomas bays, we swam in the pool at the near by hotel, we walk all along the waterfront and ate great food. Great communication with friendly managers. In room facilities were clean and generous.

The underground parking was very convenient. The apartment is specious for up to 6 people, has all that is needed to have a comfortable stay, on top there is good WiFi, Android TV with YouTube and Netflix. Location is good, area maybe the most touristic attractive, but is still nice with some local pubs and restaurants, close to the see, so evening walks were very nice. To Valletta is just 15minutes car drive.

Nice place, very good to eat. But Malta in general is nearly full with buildings. So a lot of people, a lot of traffic. Maltese people in general are quite secluded, even though everybody speaks English quite well. If you strike up a conversation with somebody in the street, you can be sure it's a foreign traveler too.DriesBelgium - 10Scored 10

I also spent time in Valletta, Sliema and Gozo. I'm so glad I ended the trip in Marsaskala. It's a lot quieter and more comfortable the other places I stayed. We had a week in St Pauls Bay so our 2nd week at Marsaskala...
We had a week in St Pauls Bay so our 2nd week at Marsaskala was most welcome. A quiet coastal village/small town and off of the main tourist route. Having said that, Valletta is only 20 minutes away and easily reached by bus for 2euros or a Bolt Taxi for about 12 euros. Bolt is superb service and cheaper than white taxis & Uber. We used them quite a bit in our 2 weeks when some buses were full. Marsaxlokk 10 minutes away is well worth a visit, go on Sunday if you want heaving crowds around the market or any other day if you want to enjoy the fishing village with sme 70 fishing boats in the bay, a few market stalls and a very relaxed feel. If you do visit on Sunday, avoid the stall selling 'Maltese' small biscuits & cakes right opposite the village square/Costa Coffee. There are lots of online warnings about him, items are unpriced but when you come to pay you will be ripped off eg. 5 euro for a 2" almond cake. He won't give you a refund if you complain. In Marsaskala, 'Cool Waters' bar has excellent food and very reasonably priced. Orient Market 3 is a big well stocked supermarket with good prices.

We liked St Thomas Bay - wonderful for swimming (there is a small sandy beach and several rocky spots) and for starting your walks (we walked to the village of Marsaxlokk, through very beautiful labdscapes). We found some nice restaurants with very tasty food. Marsaskala is a busy harbour area for locals.
Marsaskala is a busy harbour area for locals. Some boats but not a lot going in and out. It is not close to a sandy beach. There are a few small supermarkets and several restaurants with different price ranges to choose from. The problem is if you wish to travel by car then it is in part of the urban Valetta area and there are very busy roads to navigate to get in and out.

The sandy beach is a 10-minute walk along a straight road, there are bus stops near the place of residence, there are also shops and, of course, a beautiful view of the port and Marsaskala! Village Corner is close enough to the bay and promenade, while offering rural peacefulness. Green space is on premium in Malta - there is a nice view from the living room. There are three bedrooms, each with a wardrobe and: - a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, - a queen-size bed, - a single bed. A well equipped kitchen. Kind and easy to communicate with host.

There were two mobile grocery shops stopping everyday near the property with fresh vegetables and fruits. The Maisonette is big - a lot of space for kids to play hide and seek ;-) the property was fully equipped with all necessary appliances and utensils. This type of room has more space, however, if you book a room with a double bed and a large sofa has enough space too and a bigger bathroom. The place was convenient to stay.
