Vilnius is a Baltic pearl.
Vilnius is a Baltic pearl. Having visited a great number of European countries and cities, big and small, I was really surprised how Vilnius out-stands them all in many aspects. This city is so vivid and bright, young and artistic, it does not look similar to anything else. Hosting many talented and artistic people, it seems to be very functional and evolving, while still taking care of culture and tradition and integrating all aspects and requests of modern society with now damage to nature, harmony and ecology. This is like if druids from some fantasy novel would have built themselves a city and took good loving care of it.
People of Vilnius are great. Vilnius is very modern and focused on evolving its banking system and researching financial technologies, but even so - it still has strong connection to its rural areas and you can feel nature and rural vibes in people and streets, even if you see people on expensive BMW's and Helentwagens, wearing strict business dresses - you will still fill this Lithuanian spirit, loving and respectful to the nature. This central concept helps the whole city stay harmonic and very green almost effortlessly. It is surprising how much Vilnius is underrated, but on the other hand, its great that its not drowning in tourists, you will still easily find a seat in local coffee shop to take a warming cup of coffee with desert and enjoy a great view on the beautiful Vokiečių street. You should come and walk not only in the center of Vilnius, but also in more distant districts, just allocate more time for your travel and in different areas you will get reach atmospheric and existential experience. Not to mention that it is one of the cleanest cities in Europe and definitely one of the safest.

Wonderful city with lots of character and history to learn about. We registered for walking tours which helped us to get our bearings and hear stories from local people. The city has lots of great bars and cafes including a food market hall with great options.
Using the Bolt app, it was very easy and cheap to get from the airport to the city centre.

Winter season can be rainy and frosty though light decorations on the streets and city inhabitants in the evenings give charm to the city. Restaurants and pubs are full, it looks like gastronomy and drinks are very popular. It is an interesting castle visit in Trakai which you can reach by bus or train. There are multiple sightseeings including churches and museums

A very friendly, interesting and welcoming place.
A very friendly, interesting and welcoming place. The churches, museums and 'tourist' spots were well maintained and full of character. The history of Vilnius and its trials and tribulations over the centuries are well recorded and shown with pride. There are lots of coffee bars, restaurants and pubs offering very good value. Public transport is very cheap - 1Euro from the airport to the town and 3Euros on an airport express bus for the return journey. For the tourist the one area for improvement is the 'Tourist Information' town map. It needs to more detailed showing the various attractions - but other than that it was great.

Vilnius has lots to offer, if your interest is in churches & baroque. Almost all museums were in refurbishing or putting up new exhibitions, so cannot say much about them.
Namas was a totally wonderful fine dining experience: 50e for 4 courses + kitchen's greeting. Best restaurant in ages!
The hotel is located a little bit on the outside of the main tourist area but in a nearly walking distance of the Old Town. However the place is brand new, ultimately clean and up to the highest standards regarding technical and comfort functionality. Top notch A/C, cable TV, many bedside USB chargers, ironing station, fully equiped coffee/tea station with a full fridge of everything you should need for an evening sip. Breakfast has our top scores with local magic specialites but that is something to expect in Lithuania 😉
The hotel is my favourite choice in Vilnius, which I am visiting very often for business. Best quality vs price. Very good location, very nice interior and comfortable rooms. Large bathroom. Very good breakfast. Possible to enjoy good lunch and dinner as well. Has cleaning and ironing room. Has gym. Wifi good. Hotel is 10 min of walk from bus station which I use and also near Old town to visit. in front of hotel food store if you want to buy smth local or just some snacks etc. Nice staff. I really recommend.
I’ve stayed here twice this summer and it’s been perfect for my needs. Very big hotel, and rooms do seem to vary but it’s good value for money. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast buffet is really plentiful. Great to have a fridge in the rooms. Also a printer in reception and a water cooler. Easy bus to the airport (€1). It’s a little far out from the old town but it’s a pleasant walk (about 25 mins to the centre) and means you’re in a quiet neighbourhood away from the noisy cobbled streets!
Super breakfast with many choices, and we ordered drinks and snacks at the bar in the evenings. Staff is very well trained, knowledgeable, and very kind. The breakfast manager in the restaurant was particularly kind and attentive. Location was about three to four blocks from the old town area. Rooms and public areas were spotlessly clean. Very pleasant place. There's also a good Belgian restaurant and bar a couple of doors down on the same side of the street as the hotel.
Neringa Hotel is my absolute favourite in Vilnius. Location is good, just walkig distance from Old Town. Nearby there are several optios for lunch or dinner. Interior in Neringa Hotel is elegantly beautiful. Very clean. Staff is proffessional and friendly, last time I reached to Vilnius very early and got the room at 10 AM already, thank you! From breakfast table you can find everything you need to enjoy the morning! Hope to visit Neringa Hotel next time again!
The Hotel is located in the heart of the old town in the ancient building. My suite was really large and very stylish! So calm and comfortable! I was proposed with room upgrade at the check-in and a compliment (!). The staff was extremely supportive, as it should be in a 5-star Hotel. The sauna and swimming pool are available for personal use but should be booked beforehand. This is one of the best places I've ever been! Definitely, it's worth getting back.
Pleasant, quiet room at the back of the hotel, overlooking a public area, where youngsters played volleyball. The hotel is on a main road and I guess, if there are rooms at the front, they may be noisy. It was two minutes walk to the Old Town, which is not only impressive and beautiful but quite small and easy to wander around. It was also conveniently close to the train and bus stations. For us Vilnius was the nicest of the three Baltic States capitals.
The location couldn’t be any better. I believe it’s the closest hotel to the airport. It’s also accessible to the city centre by a bus, a train, or a taxi. I used Bolt. The staffs were welcoming, friendly yet still professional. Their mannerism is stunning and admirable. The room was cozy, appropriately warm, and quiet. All in all, I was happy with all the experience of staying at this hotel.
Very fresh hotel - even in shower all the corners are clean and fresh. Very comfortable bed and best pillows I ever had in hotels! Modern TV set with good choice of channels, internet and screen mirroring (pity, not for iPhone). Very good selection for breakfast and choice of cocktails in lobby bar. Walking distance to city centre. Convinient parking lot in basement (20EUR/day).
Everything was very clean, room big enough, just the bed was a little narrow. Breakfast was very good, with everything you wish - from different kinds of bread, salami, eggs, fruits to sweets. The staff was very kind and helpful! There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel so you can easily directly reach either the old town or the airport.
I stayed at hotel congress for two days and it was a pleasant experience. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was very delicious. The bus arriving from the airport stops near the hotel and the old town is in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again in the future
Really good breakfast with many options, the restaurant at the hotel is also great but pricey (for Vilnius).
Room was quite big and mine had walk-in shower, which I liked. Staff was helpful and reachable despite not being 24/7 at the hotel. Excellent location for seeing the Old Town. Self-check-in worked well.
Everything was really good - the service, location and the room. I stayed in superior room with my friend - our time spent at this hotel was amazing. I also liked Sky bar where we enjoyed an amazing view to the city centre. I will definetely come back to this hotel.
We very much enjoyed our stay in this classic hotel, located in the heart of Vilnius old town. All major attractions were easily accessible by foot, our room was spacious, clean and cosy. The breakfast too was very good and included some Lithuanian specialities.
The hotel is just a step away from the main stations (bus or train) and in a 10-minute walk from the key attractions. The view is lovely, particularly if your room overlooks the old town. Breakfast was fine, and was included in the price if our room.
The hotel has a great location - right in the center of the old town. I also want to note that the hotel staff allowed us to check in earlier than the specified time. The breakfast was really good and varied.
Best location in Vilnius, nice clean and quiet room (perfect bathroom), very good breakfast. Close to the restaurants and old town's attractions. I was really happy choosing Vilnia hotel.
