We only stayed a night but enjoyed our stay in the centre of Oristano. Our room was large and comfortable. Loved the fresh pastries for breakfast. Andrea was such a helpful and friendly host, the restaurant he recommended for dinner was great.

I love the size of Oristano as it wasn't a huge city yet it had enough shops and restaurants to enjoy. The atmosphere and the people were friendly and so it was a relaxing stay. My host was very helpful.

I found Oristano quiet during the day but came alive for restaurant and drinking during the evening. There were a few selective clothes shops. The main centre of town was busy over the lunch time and then quiet until evening. I was booked for 3 days and probably a day and a half would have been sufficient.

Oristano is a beautiful town with a lovely old quarter - great for a passegiata in the evenings. Shopping isn't really my thing but there were lots of different types of shops if you wanted them. Lots of bars, cafes and restaurants to suit all pockets. All the food we tried was excellent. It's also close to Tharros which is a must visit if you are at all interested in history/archaeology.

We visited in November and we found it to be bustling and lively. The museum of archaeology was a useful backdrop to our visit to Tharros and we were very impressed by the Duomo. The range of cafes and bars surprised us; we enjoyd aperitivo in Bar Italia and dessertson Barba Gelato - both good value. We unfortunately missed the chocolate festival (22-23 Nov 2019) and we got the impression that the town has a busy cultural calendar. It was also well situated for day trips to Sinis and San Cristiano nugharic site.

There is nothing particularly stunning nor exceptionally interesting about Oristano, no truly important monuments, no picturesque nooks, no amazing views, but wandering around the old town is a simple delight. In Trattoria Portixedda you can eat superb food at an almost ridiculously cheap price.
Italianway-Cocco evDessi Home is incredible. Ms Sara was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. She is also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities.
The neighborhood outside the apartment had a lot of life within walking distances. However, it was very quiet when you were in the loft. The apartment was walking distance to some tourist attractions. This is definitely the perfect place to stay in Oristano and Sardinia as well as.
The communication before and during our stay was very flexible and quick. All information for self check-in (and out) were provided. We could directly park next to the flat. In the flat we found everything we needed. The small rooms and the own bath were nice and sufficient and completely new.
The flat is located in walking distance to the old town of Oristano and great base for trips to the sights around the city. Umbrella was provided for beach visits. Supermarket is 50m away. So we can definitely recommend to stay here.
Best of the best! The owners are very hospitality and friendly. One review mentioned the mattress was a bit hard, but for me who does not like the super soft mattress it is perfect (probably the best bed I can find in Sardinia). The rooms are full of thoughtful decorations and details. Breakfast was abundant and the owner helped me to get my lemonade. Although they cannot speak English, it does not prevent our fluent conversation with Google Translator. What a pleasant stay in Oristano. Grazie!
I loved everything about my time at Camera con Vista, a truly exceptional place to stay. It is a beautiful, calm, clean, bright space with a fantastic balcony view. Alberto was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and providing invaluable information about the area. The breakfast made by Rita was delicious and varied, and it was a real treat to eat outdoors. I have travelled a lot, but this was my favourite place in Europe I have stayed at, and a highlight of my trip to Sardinia.
When arrived I had a room at the end of the hotel and I could hear the sound of music from the nearby apartment. They changed it, although they were almost full. Very kind and supportive. The hotel is old-fashioned and very nice. Oristano was the center of an autonomous region with a great tradition and keeps going - far from touristic coast. Relaxed atmosphere, with a wonderful nearby cafè-library in front of the statue of Eleonora d'Arborea
Donatella was amazing. She is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. She made us feel very comfortable in her lovely home, so we decided to stay an extra day to relax and enjoy the warm atmosphere. Breakfast was beautifully laid out in her dining room and it was fun trying our very elementary Italian with Donatella in the morning over great cappuccinos. Thank you very much, Donatella, you've added to our wonderful trip through Sardinia.
Amazing and unusual stay. Definitely recommend it. I imagine it’s the only accommodation of its kind in Sardinia. The hosts were courteous and timely, communication kind of worked with Spanish. The en-suite garden private to the master bedroom is magical and it felt like a real oasis in Oristano’s traffic and heat. Breakfast was great. Definitely try the pizzeria Maghe across the road, it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had, so I went twice.
The best accommodation we stayed in our holiday road trip in Sardegna. Sandro was a great and fantastic host ready and patient to give us suggestions about places to visit. Everything in the beautiful and spacious house were super clean and worked perfectly including the washing machine. I could give to him 100 score instead of 10!! Thanks Sandro.
A classic hotel in the style of the 1930s and 1940s with elegant wood decor everywhere.
The room and bathroom were done in the same style.
The lobby and front desk could be straight out of an old movie.
The staff at the front desk were very helpful.
The breakfast buffet had plenty of everything.
Free parking on the street and piazza.
Stefano is a fantastic host. He picked us up at the train station when we arrived and took us to the bus station when we left. He is very helpful in helping you to get to know the local area. The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable (good bed!). The wifi was good and reliable. The location couldn't be better for exploring Oristano.
Nice hotel, at the very end of the beach road of Torregrande. Our room (junior suite) was very spacious and modern. Breakfast is nice and well sorted. Plenty of options for dining out on the beach promenade close by. The pool was very nice and mostly for us alone as a lot of guests preferred the beach.
Good situated in Oristano. Near railway station. The bus station arst is also not far away and a grocery store is very close. The room was very clean. There is also a nice court. The host is a very kind lady. I would like to stay here again and choose the grey room or the white room.
Michela was super nice and helpful with everything we needed and asked. The apartment was also great with comfy beds and a nice outdoor area. Very conveniently in walking distance to the centre of Oristano. We can definitely recommend this place!
Comfortable rooms and good pool area. Car parking available. Within a 10 minute walk to Oristano old town centre. The hotel has internal lifts for ease of access with luggage to & from rooms. Good breakfast selection.
There as no breakfast but a nice kitchen where you could make your own. The location was excellent in the heart of the historic center of Oristano with easy walking distance to great restaurants and historic sites.
The hotel is centrally located which is very handy. There are plenty of nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Overall good value.
it was just a hotel for a night to spend. nothing else to add.
breakfast included in price- quite typical for region, not a huge choice
the corridors were quite nicely equipped
Salvatore is an encyclopedia of information and knows all the best places to visit both locally and in Sardinia.
Especially loved the homemade cookies and marmalade jam 😋
