Family of 4, spending 1 night here in 1 bedroom apartment. Fresh and new facilities. Easy parking. Hot, powerful shower and comfortable bed. Balcony was a nice feature of the room. Excellent (included)breakfast buffet and very kind working staff. We paid to eat in the restaurant and it was impressive. Thank you for a comfortable place to stay.

Like many reviewers mentioned, shortly after the booking we were notified that we should check-in in the Planet hotel, not Drake, so the review is about Planet hotel.
The hotel is very close (less than 10 minutes on foot) to Ferrari museum and just in front of the entrance of Ferrari facility; quite a big supermarket is also not far away.
Bathroom was equipped with disposable toothcare sets.
Very well (maybe even excessive) heating.
Cafe (with no dinner options) downstairs.
Balcony with tables and chairs (see photo attached).
Set directly in front of Ferrari's Wind Tunnel, Maranello Palace offers modern and elegant rooms, suites and apartments, just one kilometre from the city centre.

Centrally located close to all the Ferrari attractions. Easy to reach from Modena and Bologna. Cosy, comfortable room and all the facilities you could wish for. The breakfast was extensive. The property was a lovely Italian villa. Our hostess was friendly and welcoming.

Generally one reason why you visit Maranello and that is to experience the iconic world of Ferrari. Do the museum tour, do the factory tour and eat at Ristorante Cavallino, for those that understand, it becomes quite nostalgic, and at times emotional and you feel Enzo's passion.
Ristorante Cavallino - a fabulous experience and hard to imagine that so many iconic people met and had lunch there, truly special & memorable.

The theme of the hotel, so exited for the kids even adults.
The theme of the hotel, so exited for the kids even adults. Room was clean, more than enough supply of toiletries in the bathroom. Extra towels too. Staff was very nice and friendly. The only downside If you want to have dinner you have to have a car to drive around. The restaurant in the hotel was not exquisite cuisine…more like fast food. Still great place to stay.

We stayed 2 nts in Maranello. On arrival we went to Dinner at Drake and then our full day was spent at Ferrari Modena (classic exhibitions) and then back to Ferrari Maranello - factory compound bus tour followed by museum which was modern display and f1 area which we loved!
We eat at the Paddock restaurant- delicious food!
Next day we went to Lamborghini Museum 30min away. And travelled to venice - great road trip!

Maranello, as the saying goes is about "fast cars, slow life".
And that is exactly what you will find.... Ferrari is of course the major attraction, and if you are a fan, it is a 100% immersive experience.
We also came to dine at Massimo Botero's restaurant, Cavallino, situated at Ferrari - and it was simply awesome, exactly what we expected.
Talking of food - the brakfast at our B&B (Villa Esther) was simply superb.
And the DolceCrema Gelataria in the centre of the town, offers the best Gelato we tasted in a month long trip to Tuscany and Florence.
The town itself is small, mostly flat, and easily walkable.
We took a bus from Modena to Maranello - it is a short ride, but there are taxis operating too.

Maranello is not just about Ferrari, although they are the high profile local interest, with the factory, museum and other aspects of interest. It is a nice little town situated in a rural agricultural area of Italy, south of Modena. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to visit and the place has a nice atmosphere.

We had a tour of the Ferrari factory scheduled mid-week of our visit. For a Ferrari fan Maranello is like heaven. It is easy to walk to most all locations if you are staying at the Planet Hotel. We dined at Ristorante Cavallino, Montana, the Drake, Carisma and Osteria Emilana. We also visited the Ferrari Museum and did some shopping in town. If you are looking for local wines, very reasonably priced and snacks for late night in your hotel room go to Conad's, Piazza Unità D'Italia, SNC, 41053 Maranello , just South of the Planet Hotel. We found that many of the Ferrari factory workers shop there.
The location is fantastic, easy to access Maranello centre by walking, and you can park at the hotel securely as they have a gated access. The hotel is very well appointed, the rooms are very clean and effectively brand new. This has to be the nicest hotel in Maranello. The owner Fabio was extremely polite and helpful, and let us check out late as well. Nothing was too much, I will definitely stay here again and would recommend to everyone when visiting Maranello, don't bother looking elsewhere, just book here.
There was no air conditioning in our room even though it is listed on our reservation!!! In a fancy hotel during the heat of summer in Modena and no air conditioning???
The front desk fellow at check in and during our stay was most unhelpful. He told us to just open our windows, that there were "no mosquitos" so we didn't have to worry. That was a complete lie. Our room would fill with mosquitos if we opened the windows. Would not return here and will definitely not recommend it
Great location - next to the ferrary factory, close to ferrari museum and town center; (the town is great for walking, it's the cleanest italian town I've been in); the hotel staff speaks english and very kind, lot of parking around the hotel, get discount to local restaurants, room is confortable and well equipeed, we could watch the ferrari factory while sitting on the toilet, lot of ferrari references in the hall
Wonderful old countryside house, it seems to be caught in a 1950s time warp. Old original furniture and old details. Breakfast under the trees and a lovely, committed host, who is managing organic farm cultivations in the surroundings. Don't expect any luxury, it's 1950 and you should live as in those times, but I'm sure you'll love it as much as we did :)
Will be back again, definitely!
The concept , the food, the warmth , the design and the cleanliness. I am a big traveler, and quite often travel thorough most parts of the world. Depending on the city I stay at a hotel, Airbnb or a b&b like this one. I can confidentially say Ca’ Prandini made me feel much better at comfort, and has that simple luxury vibe than most Hiltons.
Spacious, clean, well-equipped apartments with a unique Ferrari atmosphere, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, large parking lot and garage for free. The beautiful sights of Maranello, Modena and Bologna including the Ferrari and Lamborghini museums and Luciano Pavarotti's former home are within 1 hour by car.
The rooms were very clean, the styling (obviously aimed towards car lovers) was modern and beautiful regardless of the car theme. Take away from the restaurant was also great (with great pizza for 5 euros). For a car lover, it's basically heaven. For anyone else, an exceptional hotel at a great price.
This is the very best place where you can stay in the Maranello. Maranello is a beating heart of the Valley of Motors and in the H5-5H Luxury Room you can feel the atmosphere. It is a friendly, warm and luxury place with a decent reminder of where you are. Pietro is amazing host. Grazie Mille!
Very nice hosts. Quiet and charming Bed & Breakfast. Breakfast was great as well. Very clean room and showers with modern equipment. Good place to stay if you have business near the Ferrari factory in Maranello.
Central location excellent for dropping the car and exploring Maranello on foot. East walking distance to all the main attractions, including the Ferrari museum. as well as great restaurants and bars.
Beautiful property with an amazing restaurant and the hotel is close to the Maranello/Ferrari museum.
The staff were very helpful, especially providing gluten free items for breakfast and dinner.
Italy became European champion football, that evening.
It was a wonderful event and the hotel staff was very much involved in a positive way.
Dinner and breakfast were good as well.
A nice small hotel near the Ferrari museum. The room was big and clean. The air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was very tasty and served directly to the table.
