Wonderful small town, ancient buildings, beautiful clear sea. On weekdays there are few tourists; on weekends more people come to the beach. A stunning place for photographers and artists, beautiful views of the sea, cliffs, sunset and 14th-19th century architecture.
There are many different restaurants with local cuisine, seafood, and bars with sea views.

The centro storico is a must see in this town, it's just gorgeous! Be sure to visit in the evening as well, as it's even more beautiful lit up at night. There aren't really any beaches within walking distance, at least not sandy ones, but the lungomare (seaside walkway) is fabulous and affords some great views in both directions. The Neapolitan style pizza at Pizzeria Pitta La Pizza Col Sorriso is not to be missed, and we very much enjoyed two dinners at La Creperia Cinereo Lembo Cafè in the centro storico, at surprisingly affordable prices. Just a word of caution, the pizza place opens at 8:00 pm, not 7:00, and the Creperia at 7:30. Both opening times shown on Google are incorrect. The entire town is very walkable, and I recommend B&B Sant'Agostino for its central location (5 minute walk to train station, easy stroll to the main park, piazza, seaside and centro storico).

The old part of Giovinazzo was fantastic, the criss-cross streets and alleys were easy to get lost in however this was a good thing as we found lots of places we would have missed, especially restaurants. We ate in a different place each day, and wasn't disappointed by any of them. The beaches were all rocks or pebbles, with oil on some pebbles, apparently from shipping? The oil got on our towels, it's not easy to spot as it's on individual pebbles. We had to drive 30 minutes to nearest sandy beach. Overall we had a great time, attributed to the hotel we stayed in. A converted convent. Superb 👌

Nice little town, everything reachable by foot also for the children. Exiting castle to explore including several galleries, bars and restaurants. Many swimming opportunities along the coast line. Most of them rocky with cliffs, not very suitable for small children but there was one sandy beach at the harbor in the heart of the village.

Giovinazzo is only a small town which on the day we arrived (Saturday) was quiet and easy to get around, plenty of cafes around the main square. Easy access to the sea front and a pleasant walk along the promenade.
Good restaurant by the hotel.
Our stay was too short as we had only booked one night as we were due to return home the following day

Really lovely converted convent in the old town just off the lungomare. Comfortable room, great breakfast, and enjoyed the restaurant as well. Definitely recommend. We were there just after Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
I ended up booking this at the last minute to be near the airport for an early flight home. The hostess, Angela, was amazing. She did everything possible to make our stay comfortable, including helping to arrange an early morning taxi and ordering pizza delivery to the hotel. I can't say enough about her genuine interest in her guests. The place is new and very clean. Shower was perfect - plenty of hot water. There is a small nice pool but it was a bit chilly and we didn't have a chance to use it.
Absolutely perfect stay. The place is located in a small quiet courtyard in the heart of the Old Town.
Appartment is new, super clean and equipped in everything you may need: washing machine, electric stove, hair dryer, coffee machine, cutlery etc. Bed is big and comfortable.
The owner was very responsive and helpful.
Would definitely stay again returning to Giovinazzo, next time for more days!
Breakfast was nice. Lots of items to choose from. No vegetables or meat but many cakes. The room's balcony is small but sufficient for an morning breeze. The pool is nice and located by the hotel in an olives orchid. The hotel is 10 minutes drive from the airport and that's a big advantage.
The location and amenities were exemplars, the room was very clean, the food was great and hospitality of staff accommodating the guests were exceptional. I was lost in Giovinazzo and the staff came without any hesitation to collect me. They are very helpful…
Very laid back, super friendly staff ( Francesco especially!!), top l9cation. Very tasty breakfast. I greatelly appreciate the hotel prepared me an earlier breakfast on the last day when I had to catch my train and leave early - thank you! Great terraces.
Mimma the hostess is amazing! Met with us with her family and provided us with an overview of Giovinazzo. Place is in a fantastic location and the beaches. Many restaurants within 2 minutes walk. Thank you Mimma and your family.
12 minute walk through beautiful Giovinazzo to the train station, 5 minute walk down to the waterfront and restaurants and 2 minute walk to a supermarket! Great location. Quirky and lovely apartment to have as our base.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Arco Bianco. The apartment and location are excellent. The terrace is really special. The kitchen worked just fine for what we needed. And, Giovinazzo is a wonderful and beautiful place.
Beautiful court in the heart of Giovinazzo. Perfect for a lovely holiday in South Italy. The property was safe and the staff very friendly and polite. The room we’ve booked was ready and clean at our arrival.
Excellent hotel and great folks at the reception! Highly recommended. Parking is not close and you will need to use public parking or private parking which is a bit far. But excellent experience overall.
A rare jewel near the Town Square of Giovinazzo. New modern facility, gorgeous bathrooms and bedroom. Breakfast had excellent variety.Fantastic owners who are professional and very personable.
A characterful apartment in Old Town Giovinazzo. Ideal location , central but quiet. Loved the decor and access to the roof terrace. In the heart of the town.
Amazing location! Right in historical centre of Giovinazzo. Everything is few minutes from here. We also enjoyed how big our "room" was. Super happy with this.
