The location is the best, so close to the violin Museum, and the classic style of the deco is also very appealing! The staff are very friendly and helpful - sehr Menschlisch!

I already knew hotel and facilities, and as i liked it on previous stay, I booked again.
Very flexible, helpfull and sympathetic staff on reception.

Cremona is a fascinating destination, its history is revealed on every corner you walk about. The Cremona cathedral that dates back to the 12th century, the baptistry, and the bell tower are a must visit. You may not want to miss of course the Museo del Violino where you can trace back the history of violin making as it developed in Cremona. If you're hungry for great pizza, go to La Pendola and if for great seafood, Pesciolini Innamorati. In short, you'll want to comeback there many times.

Italy is full of interesting destinations that do not make...
Italy is full of interesting destinations that do not make it to the top of Tripadvisor or Lonely planet, but are still very interesting. Cremona is one of those places. The good news (for travellers) is that the tourist masses will stay away, most people come here because of its history of musical instruments. For me the Torrazzo (the 120m tower in the square) was the more impressive sight. I have been up many towers, this is truly one of the most spectacular ones, and it has a still functioning original astronomical clock, as well as very nice explanations within the tower. The Violin museum will attract most tourists, I think it could have used more traditional exhibits where you can read and learn instead of all the (annoying) multimedia exhibits that do not tell much. The recitals (not every day, check the schedule) are a must see though. It is quite interesting to see a 180-200 year old violin (Vesuvio Stradivarius in our case) taken form the exhibition brought to the hall and hear it played live in front of an audience. And then there is the food. There are excellent restaurants in the area, I can recommend the Ristorante Il Violino (upscale, quite pricey) for example.

It's a very atmospheric town.
It's a very atmospheric town. It was where Stradivari the violin maker lived and I was there for the Stradivari festival, but even during the rest of the year the museum of the violin has recitals on violins from their collection at noon.

An authentically Italian experience in this small city.
An authentically Italian experience in this small city. Prices were amazing, people were friendly and genuine. We loved the restaurants we tried and the numerous cafes. Of course, the violin makers are the highlight of the city and the museum amazing for its collection of Stradivarius and other world famous violins.

Cremona is a beautiful city with such great sightseeings.
Cremona is a beautiful city with such great sightseeings. The three things we loved the most about Cremona were the Main Cathedral and its Torrazzo Tower, Il Museo del Violino (The amazing Museum of Violins) and Hotel Astoria.
The location is excellent and very near the historic center of Cremona. We stayed for three days and interacted with several members of the staff. They were uniformly courteous, knowledgeable, and glad to help us. We were also happy about the set up of the breakfast area, which has adequate spacing between the tables and a buffet that permits social distancing. Good cappuccino, too!
Plenty of space in this apartment. Breakfast was not provided but the grocery store Esselunga was just 100 m away and there was a complete kitchen so it was easy to eat what we wanted. The town center and main museums in Cremona were a 15 minute walk, and the railway station was a bit further, a 30 minute walk. An extensive music store is right next to the apartment.
Lovely flat, clean and with all you need for a short stay. There's a grocery shop 5 minutes away and the centre of Cremona is a 15/20 minutes' walk away. It is in a quiet residential area away from the main street. The owner was very kind offering us a lift from and to the station and giving us lots of information on the town and what to visit.
Very comfortable apartment in an excellent location. Quiet but only a short walk from the centre of Cremona. Mabel is an excellent host. Quick and clear communication. She checked with us that everything was ok and responded with a quick and clear answer to our request for advice on parking. Thanks for a great stay. Highly recommended.
This is a well=positioned, functional and good value hotel. The staff, especially Signore Carla and Renata did all possible to ensure that our group (3 adults) were accomodated in comfort and offered much-appreciated recommendations for eateries and places of interest.
The hotel is a brisk 20 minutes walk from il centro.
The apartment is spacious for a family of 4 (we stayed 3 nights). It is very clean, cozy, practical equipped, has new interior, with a balcony and terrace. You get to the upstairs room by using a spiral staircase. It’s a lovely place to come back to after exploring Cremona by foot. We can definitely recommend this place.
The hotel is centrally located, right next to the cathedral; while a historical building, it is surprisingly modern, with keyless access etc. The staff is extremely friendly. The room is very clean. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Cremona.
The apartment was big, very clean and Mr Luigi was extra kind and helpful!! Inside of an old vila with a great yard. The location is about 10 minutes by foot from Cremonas center. We had a great time !! Definitely worth the visit !!
The owner met us as we came in, the room was clean and well-stocked with amenities. It’s only a 20 minute walk into Cremona proper and very near the Po river and a supermarket. I basically liked everything about my experience.
Lovely clean , spacious and fully equipped apartment at few minutes walk to the centre of Cremona. We were warmly greeted by our host who provided all the commodities to make us feel at home. We would gladly return!
20 minute walk in lovely weather from the station. Located half a block from the piazza Duomo - perfect for me. Clean, comfy, well-appointed. Just what I needed for my overnight stay. No complaints here.
great location, good and friendly service.
As the Hotel Astoria was currently closed, my booking was automatic and without any problems. I stayed in a 4 star hotel in Impero.
Everything went smoothly.
