Nice and modern Hotel, very safe with own parking space.
Had the room with ocean view.
It is relatively close to the Etna Cablecar-Station, had a blast doing the complete Etna Tour.
Breakfast is standard, no specialities.

We will be going again.
Surrounded by pine and citrus trees, Villa delle Palme overlooks a protected marine area of the Ionian Sea in Aci Castello, 10 km outside Catania. It features a garden with swimming pool and hot tub.

The place is pretty. The accommodation has a retro look (high ceiling) that we appreciate. The place around the pool is a quiet oasis.
It is a good choice to go around with a car, either to Etna or to the sea shore.

Catania is only 15-20 minutes drive by car, depending on the traffic. Acitrezza was peacefull and we found the locals very kind, friendly and open hearted people. We dined well at Tratoria da Federico where we had delicious oysters fresh from local waters.
Unfortunatelly there is no posibility to walk alongside the sea more than a few hundred meters.

The location is great for traveling north and south of the town. The view from the terrace is lovely! We arrived at night and it was a special surprise in the morning.
The kitchen is very tiny and we were unable to reheat leftovers due to the lack of a microwave and our inability to use the oven. We were very thankful for the washing machine and clothes dried quickly on the rack on the terrace.

Acitrezza is a very beautiful village and is special due to the famous rocks called Faraglioni. Is a perfect location for visiting the eastern part of Sicily, There are nice restaurants, with good fish, pasta and pizza and of course very good ice-cream. You can have a nice walk on the promenade near the see and walk to Acicastello to see the Norman Castle. There are lots of places to take a bath from the rocks but also some platforms built over the see, with sunbeds and stairs to get into the water. From the harbor you can have boat trips.

This was our 6th visit but the first not in summer.
This was our 6th visit but the first not in summer. We were surprised by how quiet it was but the weather was glorious, the people very welcoming and it was a lovely relaxing break for us. Not a place for those who need a lot of attractions, unless you have a car and want to drive to different places every day.

Good starting point for exploring Etna and Taormina.
Good starting point for exploring Etna and Taormina. Otherwise other parts of Sicily are better, at least for families.
Lots of garbage in the roadside which sometimes spoils a good scenery, but probably the same all over Sicily.
Well equipped apartment, recently refurbished, lots of space, we were only two but the apartment can host a family. The terrace with sea view is simply amazing. The host was very nice and welcoming, easy communication, they live next door so they are available for any request. The location is perfect to explore the area, particularly if you have a car. The flat is just a few minutes on foot from Acitrezza, by car you can reach Acicastello in less than 10min, Acireale in 15min, Catania in 20-25min. Highly reccomended!
The host was very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate my late check-in and make sure I had everything I needed. The room is beautiful and very comfortable. The room is large and spacious and has a nice patio attached. There is also a kitchen with an oven, stove, and refrigerator. There is also a kitchen with an oven, stove, and refrigerator. The spa tub is HUGE and works well, it's so relaxing! Everything was perfect. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Catania.
We had a last minute decision to book outside Catania. It was a good idea. The extra 20 minutes drive was worth the location. The little town was beautiful, had great restaurants around. The hotel is not too big, end of October was not too busy. The room was spacious. Our breakfast was every morning at the terrace was beautiful, with amazing view. We left the terrace door open at nights loved the sound of the sea. Staff was very helpful and and we felt really welcomed.
Personnel extremenly polite
Restaurant food extraordinary good at great price for the customers, diverse dishes every night
Cleaning every day, 3 towels per person each day
Close enough to bus station that goes to center of Catania
Great breakfast: from home made tarts, pies, cakes, omelette, local cheese and prosciutto, muffins, biscuits, marmelades, local pistachio, lemon and other spreads, toast maker, fresh juices, coffee machine
- great terrace with sea view
- in a well kept green area
- aircon in all rooms (a must also in September)
- windows with blinds
- within walking distance (15 min) to Acitrezza center (beautiful small town)
- a bus connection to Catania is possible, but a car is recommended (there is free parking at the property)
- good restaurants nearby
- good kitchen utilities
- nice host with free wine and water bottle on arrival
Cesare is an exceptional host. Serves breakfast, checks on comfort, keeps room clean, and is readily available for help. He arranged ride back to airport as well. The room was large, had an updated bath, and cleanest place ever. Better room than major hotels. It is near center of small town, easy walking, and great experiences.
The apartment is very spacious with everything you need inside. It is at a good distance from Taormina, Etna sud, Siracuzza, Catania. You can reach the seaside in 7 minutes ( riviera dei ciclopi area). The view from the balcony is amazing ( seaside view and Etna mountain).
Breakfast was great and room was very clean and quiet. Outside the room there were spectacular views which unfortunately were not visible from inside the room. Another plus that this hotel offers is that it has ample parking spaces for its guests.
Very good quality, comfortable, amazing beds, kind staff.
A good stay was very hard to find in Catania, it seems everything is either old or bad reviewed, the Ciclope resort was our choice after checking many places, and it was the best decision.
Very nice, clean and convenient appartement close to the center. The owner is really friendly and helpful, also knowledgeable about the sites nearby. The location is also great to explore Catania, Mount Etna, Taormina etc.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a great balcony overlooking the pool, which other than having to wear a headcap was fantastic. Access to the sea and the town of Acitrezza was close and easy.
Location is brilliant but hotel was bare, I think we were the only two people in the hotel. Bar and restaurant were closed. Beaches close to the hotel which is a big plus as there is nothing to do at the hotel.
I really liked the room, the bathroom and the fact that the reception is always opened even if you arrive really late.
The hotel is really close to the sea... Two steps from the sea
Everything was just great. The breakfast, the sundowner drinks but also the whole style of the hotel. The garden was huge and super nice for children to explore and play.
The location of the b&b is perfect to enjoy the Riviera dei Ciclopi and the rooms have an amazing view. The staff is very kind. In the Oasis B&B you fell like at home.
It was a last minute booking for us due to a cancellation from an other hotel in the area. The room and bathroom were big but a little noisy. Breakfast was good.
