Featuring mountain views, TRANQUILO - Dead Sea Glamping in Metsoke Dragot provides accommodations, pool with a view, a garden, a bar, and a shared lounge.
Wow, shocked at how bad this hotel is. I don’t think you can really call it a hotel. Tiny rooms, zero view, very run down. Hotel restaurant has some of the worst food we have ever had and is super expaive. The pool is a kibitz pool shared with residents.

Ein Gedi Beach is closed. But you can reach Kalya Beach by bus or car in half an hour. Or you go down south, there are plenty of beaches there.

There were a lot of houseflies everywhere!
There were a lot of houseflies everywhere! ;-( The place has potential BUT it is really not clean... I don't recommend it, it was torture for us to stay there. What more my friend hanged a lightly wet dress in front of our tent and it was stolen.

A gorgeous oasis in the middle of the dessert.
A gorgeous oasis in the middle of the dessert. Birds, ibixes, hyraxes. The David waterfalls is beyond gorgeous.
The hikes are great and moderately difficult.
bring LOTS of water and go first thing in the morning before the throngs of school kids come.

If you want to have a silent night, don't stay here. It's a very nice camping, with a lot of fun, but we had to get up early at 4.30am (to climb the massada), so the music which was still playing loudly till 11pm (or later) was just not a good option. But if you like fun in the evening, it's very excellent place. Thus I'll recommend it strongly in that case. The (public) bathroom is very clean.

We stayed in a superior room with beautiful view over the Ein Gedi nature reserve.
Breakfast and Dinner in the Restaurant were excellent with a huge selection of dishes.
Great service at the spa with relaxing salt and fresh watr pols
The apartment and its location are beautiful. It's located within the kibbutz itself, so you get a glimpse of kibbutz life, but you have access to the hotel facilities; the pool is a short walk through the botanical gardens of the kibbutz and you receive a 10% discount at the hotel restaurant and spa. There is a view of the Dead Sea from the balcony and stunning views of the surrounding desert. The hostess, Bar, was super friendly and helpful. If we needed anything, she provided it. Overall, we had an amazing stay. It was hard to leave!
A peaceful spacious light flat with a fabulous balcony with great views towards the Dead Sea and Jordan. Very clean and convenient, with good quality bedlinen. Rivka kindly met me with her kibbutz vehicle to help me with my luggage, and checked in regularly to see if everything was OK, and with crucial advice including for booking my bus to Eilat! It is a beautiful kibbutz!
Beautiful studio with very nice terras, overlooking the mountains and the Dead Sea. Clean bathroom with excellent Ahava shower gel and shampoo. The host is very helpful and prepared a little fruitsalad as welcome. Easy parking, a mini market nearby… perfect place to discover zin Gedi, Masada etc
Ein Gedi provides an amazing experience that combines high end hospitality with the serinity of a lush oasis in the middle of the desert.
The room was very nice, the breakfast was great and the facilities (Pool, Hamam, Sauna…) where just fun!
The most beautiful place in Israel in my opinion
Beautiful, modern apartment with an authentic kibbutz vibe. The host was very warm and informative and went the extra mile for us. Ein Gedi has 3 restaurants, a pool and is only 30min by bus from the Dead Sea. Highly recommended for an affordable/value-for-money stay near the Dead Sea.
The apartment is in the residential section of the kibbutz, a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment was sparking clean and furnishings were in excellent condition. Everything needed for self service was provided in good condition. The host was friendly and very helpful.
Everything about this place gives a great community feel. as we walked up towards the camp lodge we could smell fires burning and BBQ’s cooking.
all facilities were clean and functioning and the area to expose is out of this world.
The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. The personnel is friendly and helpful.
Room rates are the only reasonable ones in this area. And there are almost no flies ouside - unlike in the more expensive main Kibbutz.
It's a confortable place near to dead Sea and Ein Gedi. You can enjoy both places being in this camping. Food there is amazing! The best hummus ever. Also we can watch the football match there!
Real glamping. Great lovely atmosphere and clean and spacious place to put up the tent. Enough picnic benches for everyone and all kinds of places to relax. Even bathroom area was beautiful.
It was wonderful staying in a kibbutz environment…felt extraordinarily safe, had use of a huge swimming pool, a few restaurant options and easy access to Ein Gedi, Massada and The Dead Sea
The place had a gate and felt very safe, the rooms were clean and spacious, incredible view of the Dead Sea from the balcony. Exceptional breakfast, free parking, close to Ein Gedi park
Ein Gedi is literally an oasis and the view of the Dead Sea and the Jordanian mountains from the Camp Lodge is breathtaking. We met great people here. Lots of positive energy!
great location
fantastic botanical garden
very nice and helpful welcome
access to kibbutz dinner and hotel pool were much welcome and added a lot of charme and value
