I liked the live music in the bars, the choice of restaurants and the interesting shops. I got some lovely birthday presents while l was rambling round the town. Westport House and grounds are lovely, although the House is closed for renovations temporarily. Westport is a good base also for other interesting places in Mayo. All in all, good in any season.

Westport is a charming picturesque bustling Irish town situated in the West of Ireland and central to Connemara and Atlantic Way. High quality pups and eateries with traditional Irish flair, great for foodies and coffee shop lovers alike.
Traditional Irish pubs with Irish music overlook the town square and the old bridge which crosses the river where fly fishermen cast their rods. The local people are friendly and welcoming.
The Wyatt Hotel is like home, everyone is so friendly and caring, it's a wonderful hotel, very clean. I have travelled all over Europe and this hotel is the best 3 star hotel I have come across as I told the receptionist this morning when I was leaving. Very close to all the amenities the beautiful Westport has to offer. We keep coming back year after year..
Our stay at Ardmore Country House was just wonderful. We enjoyed it a lot. Our room with Sea View was exceptional, Breakfast was delicious, Staff was very very friendly. We stayed for 4 nights and it was the best part of our stay in Irland. Westport is a nice little town, very cute. Some good pubs and restaurants are nearby to the Hotel.
The hotel was welcoming and was perfectly placed to walk into town. The staff were exceptional and we had a fabulous room with a four poster bed! Great food, good choice of restaurants and a delightful atmosphere. Will definitely be staying at the Castlecourt Hotel again! Loved every minute of our stay and were sad to leave.
Property was amazing! We were very surprised by how clean, Covid friendly and how lovely the ladies were. Food was gorgeous and property was 2 minutes from town. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. We have stayed in 4 places including a hotel in Dublin, Galway and here and this would be our favorite.
The location was great, right on the harbor. It was about a mile walk into town, but there were plenty of food and drink options near by the hotel. We had an view of the bay from our room, it was lovely. The room was large and offered a little sofa as well. Checking in was smooth and we had no issues.
It was one of the best experiences with hotels/B&Bs that I have had in my life. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was big, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast offered a lot of choices and the view from the room was absolutely breathtaking. I'd 100% recommend it.
Location was great, right in the middle of town. The hotel has installed two sets of windows on the front and our room had double paned windows on the side to cut down on outside noise. It was effective. Could open the side windows to let in the cool, western Ireland air.
This was the best stay on our trip to Ireland . Our room was like a hotel room with charm. The view and land was gorgeous. The hostess was lovely. Breakfast was in a beautiful sunroom. Close to everything we wanted. To see
Breakfast is not provided. Patricia, very kind host, she took me to the town, I was like.- where is the beautiful Irish breakfast, I walked into the hotel and walked out Scot few after the fab breakfast! 🤣

It's a great hotel. Comfortable, clean, staff excellent. The restaurant was high quality. Super value for money.. And well situated in the town. We are going back..
Loved the bar food in the Castlecourt Hotel. It actually was better than the restaurant I think. Service in the bar was also very good. Very attentive and friendly.
The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Ideally located in the town and walking distance to all areas. Paid parking beside hotel €3 for 24 hours.
