It is a lovely town and an ideal base for travelling around the beautiful scenic routes whether by car or on cycle track.
There were some lovely restaurants in the town and many quaint pubs.
Close to beaches.
The Moat is located in a private location overlooking Clonea strand. It is a lovely spacious and comfortable house with fabulous sea views. All mod cons you could possibly need are provided. Eileen & Paul are excellent hosts, easy check-in/check-out, scrumptious homemade scones for us on arrival. Contacted by host during our stay to ensure all comfortable. The beach is a short walk and Dungarvan town is 6km away.
Beautiful luxurious B & B. The breakfast was the best cooked that I have had, lovely homemade bread and beautiful cutlery and crockery. Felt like we were in a 5* hotel. Very helpful host giving us helpful local information and ordered a taxi for us. Luxurious bedroom, very comfortable bed and large bathroom with a rain shower and jacuzzi bath. Very quiet location.
The hotel was beautifully decorated and just perfect for our 2 night getaway with out dog. The bed was super comfy and the staff were exceptional and even arranged for us to have dinner indoors with our dog at their sister restaurant, a rare treat for any people travelling in Ireland with a pet.
We attended a wedding. Everything was amazing. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food and service was brilliant. Bar staff were very attentive. The cleaning staff in the morning were effecient and very friendly. Overall a really lovely stay. Thanks to everyone at The Park Hotel
We booked Dun Ard for 2 nights so that se can visit Dungarvan and ride bikes along the Waterford Greenway. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Our hostesses were most hospitable and gave us other recommendations for rainy days. They made us a delicious breakfast.
Clean and comfortable room with extras like bottled water in fridge. Convenient location in town centre, close to shops and cafes/bars. John the host was friendly, offered to collect us from the bus stop and showed us the best places to eat.
Great location for dungarvan Town, clonea strand, fota and Ardmore.
Kay is a lovely host and leaves milk, cornflakes scones and jam prior to your arrival.
Would definitely recommend and return to St Anthonys b&b
Location in the middle of Dungarvan was very convenient. Owner was very accommodating. King bed and good-sized bathroom was a plus. Parking in a nearby parking lot was reasonable. Good value for money.
Room was spacious. had plenty of tea and coffee in room. Staff were extremely kind and very helpful. I would definitely recommend Tudor house as its located less than a 2 minute walk from the town centre
Catherine was absolutely lovely & her place was outstanding-comfortable and sparkling clean. The breakfast was just as other reviewers described-out of this world!
