We stayed at Bali Diamond as a couple with another couple of friends, and we all absolutely loved it. It's a small family run hotel, with super friendly helpful staff, especially Eva at reception, and Chrisoula, who created the magnificent daily breakfast banquets. It's very well located for the airports as well as all the points of interest locally.
I recommend this hotel very highly. Immaculately clean, well designed, lovely pools and terraces, with a relaxed yet smart atmosphere.

Super friendly staff, upon arrival we received a room upgrade and a welcome drink free of charge. Great location in the town center, the closes beach is almost at your doorstep but you can easily walk to all of the best local beaches as well. Delicious breakfast served on the roof, so you can enjoy the sea view at the same time.

Small town but very pleasant.
Small town but very pleasant. It has everything you need for a fun and relaxing vacation. Various activities can be done: cruises, excursions, quad safaris, snorkeling, scuba diving, etc. Being located in a bay, the sea water is very calm and ideal for swimming. Sandy, clean beaches. Tasty dishes at restaurants.

Balion is a very crowded , popular coastal town in Crete but once you park at the hotel you can just walk down the (steep) stairs to the little beach. It is a quiet location so perfect to sit and take in the view. We do get tired of hiring sunbeds to add to our holiday exenses and unfortunately there is only a tiny patch of sand to relax on. The jet skies get prime waterfront position too but once in the water, it is calm and very enjoyable. We stayed 2 nights, probably 4 would have been better to enjoy the views and atmosphere. I would definitely stay again but only in room105!

Beautiful place but need to know how to get to hotels.
Beautiful place but need to know how to get to hotels. There is a bus stop in the hill above the town so you need to wait for mini train into town unless you want to walk down hill into to town 20-30 minutes depending on your hotel local. I think there is only one taxi in town so they could be busy when you arrive,

Balion is basically a few little areas dotted along the coast. Each area has restaurants and hotels and a few shops. You can walk between a couple but for the ones further away you'll need a car or can use the small on road train service which runs every hour and is very cheap.
Mambo is a great choice to eat. There's also a great place at the very top of the hill - in a secluded bay with only 2 tavernas. Its the half way point on the train. The taverna furthest from the steps is the one to pick!
The property itself was of great quality, with brilliant clean rooms, bathrooms, and a lovely swimming pool and bar area. Everyone working at the property were very pleasant, and Niki who runs the hotel, was extremely helpful with any questions we had about the area, or requests we had. The whole place was brilliant value for money. The location of the property was fantastic for access to all Bali beaches. The rooms were cleaned daily, which made the stay even more pleasant.
Regina is a very special host at reception desk, very communicative, great energy, she helped us rent a car, get a taxi to the airport (for a family of 7), easily changed our accommodation to what my family really needed. Great assistance, thank you Regina. We travel a lot and I really think what you did for us was special. The hotel is in a really beautiful mountain area, lovely people work there. It was a really relaxing stay for my Easter holidays, thanks!
Sea Vessel blew our minds. We rarely stay at budget hotels, but this hotel turned out to be pure luxury with budget prices. They offer some of the most beautiful views in the area. All of their rooms are spacious and beds actually comfortable. The host is very kind and attentive. It was raining the day we left, so he took us to the bus stop with his car. The location is superb, just a few steps from the beach. Outstanding!
The apartment was huge for one person, with two rooms, 3 beds altogether, little kitchen, little bathroom and a huge balcony with the greatest view. There is a little lagoon that you can visit from the hotel, it looked really cute but the weather was rainy so I didn't actually go. The breakfast was okay, nothing special. You also get dinner but I was already really hungry so I ate before.
The location is the best in Bali. Staff is super friendly and the views are amazing. Breakfast is very nice with a great view. The pool area is super nice and warm jacuzzi is a good plus if the weather is chilly.
We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back as it was so great and the hotel was so quiet and nice. Blue Bay is cleatly the best hotel in the Bali Village.
We stayed at the angel villa
. The place was perfect
The all included was in the main building
The food was ok but more like 2-3 stars hotel
The stuff were excellent
The view and atmosphere were amazing
I would suggest the hotel to disconnect the villa from the food facility than the rate would be 10
A car is a must
The hotel was excellent. The view from the balcony was amazing. Mattress, AC and fridge all were great. We loved the pool with a view and the small café area. The staff was always friendly. The location is very good, within walking distance to 3 of the 4 beaches in Bali. We wished we could have stayed longer!
The location is amazing it is in the middle of the village everything is close the food is great the staff very friendly and fun the rooms are really beautiful overall it's one of if not the best hotel in bali. It also has a spa that i didnt get the time to make use of but next time i definitely will.
The hotel is on the beach, and the sandy Bali beach is very nice. We booked the room one day in advance and I got a good price. Parking is no problem. For dinner the Golden Sun taverna near the hotel is highly recommended. A large buffet is offered for breakfast. You can easily find what you need.
We really loved our stay. The apartment had a wonderful view and a big balcony. Everything was so clean. Athena and Dimitris were so nice, and we felt very welcomed. The hotel has a perfect location in Bali which is one of the coziest places we have visited in Greece. We will definitely come back.
Very nice comfortable room with all I needed, with comfortable bed, kitchenette, shower and excellent view to the sea and Old Port of Bali. Fresh and good quality bedding, linen and towels, very clean room. Friendly helpful owners. Spent 2 weeks there and will be happy to return.
Amazing hotel ! we were upgraded to this stunning sea view suite with private pool which was exceptional-711! we have never dreamt of staying in place like this . And this was just due to the kindness of the reception stuff.
thank you again for making our holiday very special
Great location, everything is walking distance within Bali (some steep hills in the village but you get used to it!). The views of the bays and the ocean are incredible from the hotel rooftop, restaurant and our ocean view room. The best we’ve ever had from a hotel.
Location is very good. The rooms and hotel are beautiful and very clean. Beach towels were provided once for free, to change you need to pay 2 €. There is a market almost at the hotel. Breakfast was good.
Everything. Pool was the perfect temperature, comfortable beds, plenty of outdoor seating. Staff extremely helpful and attentive.
Stellios who looks after the villas from the hotel was brilliant.
Many good memories from Bali and from Joanna Apartments in particular. The owner is very friendly and helped us no matter what we asked. We really want to come here again!)))
Fully renovated hotel, spacious and confortable rooms, cleaning lady did a really good job, amazing location just 1-2 minutes on foot from Varkotopos beach.
