The staff at the hotel were friendly and efficient. The hotel is in a great location and it's just out of the hotel door for either shopping, restaurants and cafes, or a walk along the sea front. I guess that the hotel has been refurbished relatively recently as the decorations and furnishings were in good condition and what you should expect to enjoy in a 4* hotel.
With an air-conditioned gym, 20-metre indoor heated pool and a spa, Dalmeny Hotel overlooks the sea from St Annes seaside promenade and is a 10-minute drive from Blackpool.

Great location, lovely clean room. Didn’t realise the hotel was underneath a nightclub. We couldn’t sleep due to excessive noise and shouting until 3am

Lytham St Annes is very traditional, not noisy like Blackpool, lovely gardens along the front and nice and flat for walking. Not a lot going on but some nice hotels and restaurants and Blackpool is only a short car ride away. The beach is great for the kids but most of the time the sea is VERY far out so not much chance of a paddle! Great for young kids there are trampolines and small swings and the big balls you get into on the lake, a lovely paddling pool too. There are slot machines etc on the pier, great if the weather isn't good. Great for families and elderly people!

We stayed in a beach front flat , it was close to the main shops and the beach. Walking is easy as everywhere is flat. It was difficult to find somewhere to eat as the town was very very busy, which wasn’t a problem to be honest we were so impressed to see everyone out having a great time, good for the local economy.

Welcoming, central location, rooms really well appointed and the owner is great to chat to and makes you feel at home. Exceptional breakfast over 15 different dishes all freshly cooked in open plan kitchen. Offered a beer on arrival and a Buck’s Fizz for breakfast, not sure many hotels offer that let alone a B & B. Trust me this is better than most hotels in Lytham. Wish them all the success here, they deserve it.
The family room was excellent for a family of four and was huge. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was spotlessly clean.
The breakfast was really nice and fresh. Will definitely stay again. Would recommend for a couple or a family. Great location for Lytham and only 5 mins drive into Blackpool with free parking at the hotel.
Hotel has recently been refurbished.
Excellent breakfast, didn't dine in hotel but people seemed happy with their meals
Dog friendly but no beds or bowla in rooms
St Annes as a location (other than beach and dunes) is pretty tired and has seen better days.
Nearby Lytham, however, surrives.
The hotel is located in a great location for Lytham. In walking distance to the town and all great cafe bars and pubs.
It has its own modern pub downstairs serving great food and drinks.
For my teenage daughter directly opposite the bus stop for Blackpool that takes 20 mins
Very relaxed, staff lovely
Close to all amenities we wanted ,prom for walks ,pitch n putt course and lovely swim in hotel during the day
Then on bus outside hotel to Lytham festival each night
Night cap at bar on return from festival
Plenty of relaxing seating areas
friendly, helpful staff. Good Breakfast. Our room was facing the sea so had a great view. Great walking paths along the seaside. Good selection of restaurants within walking distance. Our main reason for visiting was to visit Royale Lytham St Annes Golf Club.
Excellent location, value for money, cleanliness, very peaceful at night for a relaxing sleep, good breakfast and a very friendly helpful professional host. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday break in a very pretty seaside resort.
Lovely welcoming friendly hotel. Many are returning guests but we were made to feel part of them. Would most certainly return again. Situated very well for all shops bars restaurants. Bus stops easily accessible for Blackpool and Lytham.
Our 2nd stay at this great hotel. Excellent location on the seafront in Lytham. Warm and friendly welcome on arrival, clean and comfortable room and a hearty, well cooked breakfast in the morning. What more could you ask.
Went for a friends birthday as they have stayed in Lytham St Annes in the past. No real issues with hotel. A little overpriced for the standard of the rooms and facilities.
The breakfast was superb, good selection of hot and cold food. The hotel location is great for a walk on the prom or going to the restaurants and bars at Lytham
