Friendly staff and great for golfers and racecourse users. Good swimming pool and convenient parking. Rooms are tired and dated and the double beds were uncomfortable for two people. There also wasn’t enough staff breakfast and the volume of people meaning food ran out quickly.

Because there was nobody at the front desk I had to phone...
Because there was nobody at the front desk I had to phone the hotel to inform them that the one light bulb in the bathroom did not work, the tap in the bathroom did not work properly and the basin did not drain properly BUT they did nothing about it. The furniture was also visibly dirty.

location was very good ,i would avoid using this hotel if i was coming to the area again . we had a breakfast at the property but it was only warm so we had the need to find a cafe close by ,bear this in mind if you book a breakfast .

If you want to eat somewhere else The Star Inn a 2 minute drive away is worth visiting. We were booked into the Restaurant next door at Lingfield racing. It is not cheap but if you want to add to your visit a day at the races plus a meal is worth it.DawnDawn61United Kingdom - 6.0Scored 6.0
Loved the location of our room however a bit tired.
Loved the location of our room however a bit tired. Some light bulbs weren’t working and as there was no heated towel rail in the bathroom we couldn’t dry our towels so had no alternative but to have fresh ones each day. Not enough seats in the restaurant so Sunday morning we left without breakfast as the queue for a table was too long. This really does have to be sorted.LynUnited Kingdom

Were accommodated for supper although we had not reserved a table and the food was very good. The old village of Lingfield was a lovely surprise for an evening stroll. It was handy for an overnight stay before a morning flight from Gatwick Airport about 22 minutes drive away.
