We had an excellent stay in the cosy little hut. Rural location that you'll need transport for but places to eat within a 20min walk and basic cooking facilities in the room allow you to self cater. Enjoyed our stay here more than other far more expensive stops on our trip.

We have relatives nearby which we were visiting hence our stay. Launceston is good in parts, not many pubs served food bit it was awash wit takeaways. Not suitable for anyone with limited mobility as the town has steep hills. Tesco etc has killed all the small independents which used to be in the town

Good pubs, Red Lion in Trewint a must. Lovely town centre in Bude, can drive to Davidstowe and Boscastle, amongst other places. Heaps to do, stunning countryside for walks, definitely chocolate box. Breathtaking coastline. It's wonderful to have both countryside and coastline on offer 😁

Typical Cornish town, recommend Francine’s fish and chips for fast efficient service with a smile.
The roads are narrow and it can get congested in a car but if you’re on holiday patience is key, enjoy

We were a 20 minute drive from Launceston in beautiful countryside. We used Launceston for self catering shopping. There is a castle, church and narrow gauge steam railway,
Launceston is well placed. For the A30 for day trips to the many wonderful attractions along the coast.

A very run down little town , but beautiful surrounding areas such as crackington , Bude & Padstow definitely all worth a visit .Fantastic pub & resturant /cafe in Crackington right on the beach front excellent food & service .
Journey down to Cornwall was a nightmare. Terrible weather caused me to be late arrival. Although the restaurant has closed the staff took pity on me and provided a full meal. The car park was full, but the staff member on reception moved their own car in the pouring rain so I could get in. What brilliant customer service going above and beyond what I would have expected. I was completely frazzled by the car journey when I arrived but left with a definite spring in my step. My thanks to all staff members on duty 18-19th August
I loved everything about this property. It has everything you’ll need for your stay, fully equipped kitchen if you plan on cooking. There is a small shop in the village of Polyphant but it you’re staying for a time you’d probably want to go to Tesco’s in Launceston. We had relatives near by so didn’t require a car, but if you’re traveling to the Shippon you’d probably want one. The Cornish countryside is exquisite and the views from our room didn’t disappoint.
Superb location on a working farm well in the quiet of the country, lovely small lake to walk around admiring the fish and wildlife with bats coming-out in the evenings. The property was excellent for us as we were out all day, did n o cooking after breakfast and simply wanted to relax after a reviving shower with a cold glass after a day's walking and exploring Devon and Cornwall.
We loved the cosy, comfortable cottage and the surrounding equestrian centre and fields to walk around. It was lovely to walk outside and stroke the horses every morning. Location was perfect for travelling to different places around Cornwall and Devon. Andy and Kathryn were so friendly and helpful too and couldn't do enough for us to ensure our stay was comfortable.
One of the best one night business stopover places I’ve stayed. I usually use premier inn or a hotel in Exeter but unable to get a booking in the busy summer holiday season, I stumbled across Poole Farm B&B. Wow what a gem of a find. I can’t recommend this place enough and now make it my first choice for any Cornwall visits.
Loved the location and was very well set up by the owners from a private caravan site for only about 7 to tastefully decorated rooms in the house, which were very comfortable and a decent size. We were made very welcome and the breakfast choice was superb. Would definitely return again.
Absolutely great place that I would highly recommend for short or long stay. Place is beatuful, area is amazing, host superb. Most wondering was hosts attention to details. I haven't seen something like this for a long time. Thank you for a great time we spent in this lodge.
We had a fabulous stay for our 3 nights here! Communication with James was excellent and the space was perfect with such lovely touches. Amazing value for money and we would 100% recommend to others looking for a base to explore Cornwall and Devon.
The barn is a beautifully restored building in the middle of stunning countryside. There’s a wonderful walk down the road and Gemma is a fantastic host with some great recommendations for things to see and do in the area.
Traveller's Rest is an excellent place in the beautiful Bodmin Moor. Andy was a wonderful and kind host and I really enjoyed my stay. The area is superb for cycling and walking. A perfect holiday.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Facilities in hotel were also very good. Food was excellent. Would not to hesitate to recommend this place.
Location ideal for our visit to Cornwall. Access to back garden which was excellent for our senior dog. Cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable. Hosts were on hand for anything needed.
