It’s a lovely traditional pub located in the heart of the village of Kettlewell. A good voice of food on the menu including vegetarian options. Food in the evening was tasty with good sized portions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nicely decorated and clean.

Location is amazing. Right in the centre of Kettlewell with a couple of fab pubs only a few minutes walk away, yet has numerous walks from the door. We were given a parking permit so could use the car park across the road for free. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was everything you could want. Very reasonably priced too. Thank you Michael for a fab stay.

The location was perfect. We were doing the Dales Way walk. The hotel manager couldn’t have been more helpful. We wanted to sort a bag transfer, which the hotel manager helped arrange.

Kettlewell is a pretty village ideally situated for walking in Wharfdale. It was quiet when we visited but, given its popularity for walkers, it is worth booking a hotel with parking as part of the deal.

A beautiful and picturesque village in the Dales which surrounds Kettlewell. People are friendly and made us feel welcome. It has 3 pubs and food at The Racehorse Hotel was tasty. Kettlewell is in a lovely location in upper Wharfedale, the scenery is stunning with some excellent circular walks from the village. The walk over to Arncliffe and back isn't too difficult and is well worth the effort and once there you get to have a pint in a cracking little pub called the Falcon. If your feeling a bit more energetic the walk up to the summit of Great Whernside is well worth the effort and you will have definitely earned a pint, or two, when you get back.ColinUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
Beautiful part of the country.
Beautiful part of the country. This was our 3rd stay in the quaint peaceful village. Pretty little river runs through it. bus stop outside of the hotel easy journey into next village Grassington. Great pubs with lovely meals. People very friendly.AngelaUnited Kingdom

Our kids (aged 9 and 13) loved paddling in the river next to the house, there are so many lovely walks from the door and it’s a short stroll into the centre of Kettlewell, which is a delightful village with two good pubs serving decent food. The house itself has private parking by the door, which is invaluable in such a popular village. We also loved the fact it was at the top of the village, out of the main hustle and bustle and surrounded by beautiful countryside.BeckyUnited Kingdom

The house is really spacious so it’s great for a large group without people falling over each other. The games room is brilliant and large and comfy! Kitchen has everything you need. We were a group ranging from 0 to 80 years and the house was suitable for kids and adults alike. Communication and information from the hosts was faultless. It was all very easy.

The accommodation was outstanding. Recently fully refurbished with fixtures and fittings completed to a very high standard. I was cycling so I could go straight off by road or mountain bike. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the food was good, the beer was good, and as a mid-week venue it was superb (Wharfedale can get very busy weekends/holidays)
