Terri & Robert decorated the house with an amazing taste, the place impecably clean, and the bed very comfy. Specially Terri went above and beyond to make our stay a nice trip with all the reservations (I felt I knew her even before I arrived). The trip was to see if the lodging/ Laguardia was suitable for my friends' visit from Korea in September (there are 6 of us) and I strongly recommend the place and Laguardia!

Laguardia is a stunning place to visit, the views of the surrounding countryside from the town are breath taking. Walking around the walled town's narrow streets is magical, especially in the evening. There are many Bodegas where you can take a wine tasting tour of the underground cellars where they are still used as a winery. A visit to the Church of Santa Maria is a must, book your tickets in the tourist office in the centre of Laguardia. There are many restaurant/coffee shops and shops but be aware that on Sunday and Monday's many places are either shut or only open for a few short hours. The Irish Tavern is great for Pintxos a place many locals frequent also Bar Los Sietes. I highly recommend Restaurante Biazteri 1974 for Pintxos or dinner but make sure your reserve a table if you want the "Menu Del Dia"

What a spectacular place - so unexpected, one of the most beautiful towns I have ever been to. Authentic medieval walled hill town with tiny narrow streets of honey coloured stone protected by huge walls and gates. It’s set in the middle of the stunning Rioja wine making valley, with vineyards in all directions protected by stunning hills and distant mountains, The spectacular views on every side of the town remind one of a medieval tapestry. In the evening the narrow streets are full of locals from kids to grannies in wheelchairs out living the good life in bars and cafes. Gorgeous

LaGuardia is a cute town with tons of history. There is easy parking so getting in and out of town is stress free. There are so many wineries within a short distance that you can do many. The one in town is so cool. With underground tunnels and so much history.

Laguardia is a small fortress village on top of the hill but there are lifts from the bottom road that take you to the village. The place is pretty quaint and crisp. It is worth spending a day there with a visit to one of the bodegas. The church is big and beautiful inside. Worth 2-50e for a visit, Even though the guide only speaks Spanish. Plenty of bars with pintxos.
Nice, quiet location in the center of a beautiful walled town. Large, comfortable room (room 25) on the top floor of a historic mansion. My partner loved opening the huge outer door. Easy walking distance to all the bars, restaurants and attractions. We had a good dinner in the hotel restaurant on our first night. Friendly staff. The town is surrounded by great Rioja vineyards, with visits and tastings easy to arrange. Very helpful Tourist Information office is along the street from the hotel.
Wonderful boutique hotel right off the Plaza Mayor in LaGuardia. Beautiful town. The only difficulty was that no cars are permitted inside the walls of the city. So parking is difficult and can be quite a distance from the hotel. Carrying large or heavy suitcases is impossible. We had to repack from suitcases to backpacks in the parking lot in order to get necessary items to the hotel. Nowhere is this mentioned. Otherwise, the hotel is a lovely oasis in a city where you step back in time.
The best place to stay in Laguardia. It was a special treat for us to stay in this amazing from place. From check in to check out we had an amazing experience. Incredible hotel in the heart of a beautiful medieval village.
The hotel is breathtaking and our room was amazing. The cellar is worth a visit. The staff were amazing and when we notified them that we would be checking out early, a staff got up and arranged juice and coffee before we left. What a lovely touch.
The room had a large terrace with an amazing view to the mountains and over 4 provinces! Shame the weather was overcast but we still enjoyed sitting out with a bottle of wine! The terrace has a couple of sun beds for warmer weather .
The hotel is right across from the old town walls , a beautiful old town with quaint narrow streets and lots of bars and restaurants
Parking for our motorcycle was good
Bed was comfortable and everything clean
Lovely restored hotel by wonderful, accommodating owners. Our room was clean beautifully decorated with a most comfortable bed and luxurious bedding. Bathroom clean and well supplied.
Located in a beautiful village with much history, restaurants & shops. Terri & Robert are great hosts & so glad Terri coordinated an amazing wine/lunch tour with taxi - one of the highlights of our Spain adventure.
Highly recommend.
We stay at this hotel when travelling from UK to Spain via France. We take our dog with us.
The hotel is lovely; clean, comfortable with excellent facilities. But it is the exceptionally friendly, customer focussed staff that stand out for us. The reception staff, bar staff, restaurant staff and breakfast staff are all welcoming and truly customer focussed.
We recommend this hotel to visitors to Rioja.
Perfect location in Laguardia, quiet but easy and quick walk to everything. Hosts went out of their way to be helpful. Room was large and clean and bed was super comfortable.
Views in Laguardia are breathtaking. And Laguardia has many good tapas bars and restaurants to choose from. Tour of Casa Primicia was worthwhile; we'd booked in advance.
The hosts, Terri and Robert, were fantastic. We asked for their advice on things to do and they set us up for a great 3 night stay with wineries and meals to die for. The newly renovated space has old world charm with all of the modern conveniences. I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Laguardia.
The owner is so nice and so very friendly. Have us great recommendations for vineyards to try and places to see.
The location couldn't be better. It's in the walled city so it's only 5 minds walk from all the city Bodegas/Wineries.
The view from the hotel is stunning
Great location in the centre of LaGuardia. Hotel building is in a historic building with an amazing wine cellar. Bedroom was well decorated and spacious. Breakfast was also excellent. Would recommend to anyone staying in LaGuardia and visiting nearby bodegas.
Amazing hotel, in a building that's 400 years old. Our bed was enormous and really comfortable. We loved to massive old beams and the patina of age on the floor tiles. The town is gorgeous to wander around and would be fabulous for wine lovers.
The hotel is actually built over the winery with all the rooms overlooking the vineyards. Spectacular views. The winery tour was also unique, focusing on how it was developed by the founder into a warren of caves. Very cool.
fantastic location, balcony , quiet area, comfortable room, very friendly staff who were informative about the area. nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious
The village of Laguardia is a treasure
We chose a superior room with large balcony and superb view. Very comfortable, clean and well-presented. Exceptionally high-quality furniture and furnishings throughout the hotel. Good choice of breakfast.
