Cadiz is a beautiful city, among the oldest in Europe.
Cadiz is a beautiful city, among the oldest in Europe. The people are very friendly and the views are stunning. We visited here after visiting Madrid and it was a breath of fresh air. Beautiful narrow streets without the crowds. The market is a great place to sample the local seafood. The train station is a short walk to the town center and from there, you can visit nearby Jerez, Cordoba or Seville. There are also beautiful beaches.

Cadiz is lovely, first impression I thought it was a bit tired and run down but the more I saw the more I loved it. It really has everything, beautiful beaches, a fabulous old town, and lots of sights to see. Great cafe culture. Better for the more mature traveller which suited us fine. This is a wonderful place; we never ventured outside of the old town - why would you. Yes there are tourist traps a plenty for the cruise ships etc but with a little thought one can easily find very authentic traditional places to eat and drink with wonderful friendly staff. The Roman theatre is a MUST see.

The rooms are great, so comfortable and spacious. It feels like the hotel really anticipated our every need as guests. The breakfast was SO good as well. There was a parkade close by that charged 10 euros per day which is the cheapest we’ve found so far traveling through Andalucía. The staff at the hotel were all very kind and helpful. I would come back to Cadiz just to stay at this hotel again, would highly recommend.
