Really looked the hotel overall . The staff are friendly and professional. Very nice breakfast with gluten free toast available on request . Tea coffee and water available all day and evening. Very clean and comfortable . Bathroom was small with the sink outside in the bedroom but not really a problem. Steep walk up the hill to the chateau and most restaurants but overall location was great.

The architecture was breathtaking. We felt we were in many parts of Europe. Montmorency Falls are a must see, absolutely spectacular. Notre Dame Basillica another amazing place to see. The guided tour of Chateau Frontenac is not to be missed, a really informative, beautiful experience. Take the funicular to Le Petit Champlain and soak in the oldest street in Quebec. The Parmesan restaurant, Bistro Hortus and Cafe Buade are wonderful places to eat. We will hold this trip in our hearts forever.

Gem of Canada.
Gem of Canada. Absolutely recommended place to go - especially if you have not been to Europe, or have been and missing it.
Old town is definitely a must for a walk and eat-outs (Aux Anciens Canadiens, Restaurant Sagamite), plus the park Plains of Abraham.

We took various tours and they were all wonderful.
We took various tours and they were all wonderful. The people are friendly and every meal we had was amazing. The topography took some getting used to, but it made for beautiful views. The Alphonse restaurant is so good we went three times. The night-time ghost tour was fun and the tour to Montmorency Falls, etc., was a highlight. Sadly, the tours of the Morrin Centre weren’t available the days we were there, but the library is worth the cost of a day ticket (especially for fans of murder mysteries)!

Lots to explore people friendly and patient with us fools who did not continue our French after college. Food and servers very good-you won’t leave hungry. Very walkable felt safe in areas around the hotel. Lots of smiling faces. Be kind to your servers and tip as though you are at home. The exchange rate is not equal and it doesn’t hurt to e a little more generous. It is really being kind to our northern neighbors.

Quebec is the most beautiful city in North America, in my opinion. The older part is compact, and pedestrian-friendly. I suggest planning to park your vehicle on arrival, and walk! I was pleased to see that Quebec has improved the riverside expressway connecting the bridges over the St. Lawrence to downtown, and has added miles of riverside parks, bikeways, bus transit stations, and public artwork along the way. My only disappointment is that the Museum of Fine Arts has been largely closed for renovation of the main galleries.

The location was perfect for the 2 nights I reserved.
City buses where on the same street as the hotel location, very affordable way to go visit the old Québec city.
Get ready to do a lot of walking and sightseeing
The hotel is located in the heart of the Old Town, and 5 minutes from the main promenade and the Champlain monument! There is parking for a car and it is very convenient, since it is simply impossible to leave a car anywhere in the old town. The hotel itself is amazing! The room is very clean, there are all bathroom accessories. The hotel is very warm and quiet. The staff is always friendly. I will give this hotel the highest rating
Breakfast consisted of fresh tea and coffee, fresh fruit and croissants and jogurt. Not much variety, but fine for us.
Nice staff, gave lots of info of what to visit.
She even moved her car so we could have a free parking spot.
Attached restaurant Aspara was best meal we had in Quebec.
Location was perfect right on the edge of old town, were able to walk everywhere and safe at night. Would definitely stay there again.
Amazing location for being a tourist in old Quebec. You really could not beat the convenience of the location. We were there Saturday-Weds and we knew we would unlikely find street parking (especially on the weekend), but it was $25 a day for valet with the hotel, and that was honestly well worth it. Also the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept on in a long time.
THe location of the hotel is suberb right next to the much more expensive chateau frontenac, close to everything in old quebec city palace royal, ferry to levis, petit champlain neighborhood, so close that you can come take rests at your room during the day. The hotel is also very maintained and rooms for families are perfect. Everything modern and working at a very fair price.
This is THEE historic hotel of Canada. To me, this property just screams C A N A D A. It's perfectly located to enjoy all the most amazing sites in old Quebec City. The property did not disappoint and fulfilled a bucket list dream of mine.
One of the most amazing things was getting an Old Fashion drink that was made with Buffalo Trace bourbon (our favorite!).
Large beds and rooms, large shower and ample free parking spaces. It is bit far from the tourist attractions, but it’s well worth your money compared to hotels in old quebec. The free breakfast is a plus and the cleanliness is superb as well. They also allowed us to do early check in at 1:30 PM which is really nice after a long drive.
This is a nice cosy hotel in a central location within Old Quebec City. The hotel staff are all really helpful, and can speak French and English depending on what you prefer.
The hotel was well kept and the rooms were all clean, including the detached bathroom. I also liked the vibe and decor of this facility.
In particular, this hotel where you can cook your own meals while traveling with your family was very useful.
1 King Size Bed on the 2nd floor, a bunk bed for children in a separate room, and a living room and kitchen on the 1st floor.
Location in Quebeck Old Town was good for sightseeing.
It is super well located, with view to the Fairmont hotel, right in the middle of old town and easy access everywhere. We walked from and to the train station. Quite place at night, busy during the day. Easy check in and check out, comfortable room.
The hotel is in a historic building in Old Quebec near some great restaurants. Great ambience and location. The staff was amazingly friendly and the breakfast was good. They were very accommodating when I added a night to my stay.
The hotel is lovely. The staff are friendly and kind. The location is excellent. Best location to tour the old city of Quebec. From the window there was a view of the famous chateau. The room was clean and beautiful.
Beautiful, boutique hotel on a cobblestone side street within walking distance of everything in old town. We didn’t have a car and don’t need one. The included breakfast offerings and coffees were excellent.
Hotel is for sure charming, breakfast was decent, and location is obviously great. Just a short walk to old town or restaurants. The way to old town is also very pretty specially at night.
20 minutes drive from Old town of Quebec city, it's a good option for a short affordable stay. Room was clean, big TV, bathroom is separate from the small space with a sink and mirror.
It is a very quaint and old-fashioned hotel with a lot of character. It is situated perfectly to explore the Old Town of Québec and the staff were very nice. The wifi was great.
The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Our room was big and modernised. The hotel is in the old town, walking distance from the main attractions of the city.
