As the world’s largest diamond-cutting city, Antwerp (Anvers in French) is naturally affluent. It comes as no surprise then that fashion is also of utmost importance, so the shopping here is excellent. It may not be the cheapest place, but the quality certainly matches the price.
Another big business in Antwerp is the port, one of Europe’s largest. Take a cruise around to admire its scale. The Scheldt River leads from the port into the city, and on its banks are a handful of interesting museums and Het Steen, a medieval castle built to protect the city against Viking invasions.
A few streets back is the Grote Markt, a beautiful square flanked by the grand town hall and 16th-century guildhouses – a typically Belgian scene. Behind this is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Antwerp Cathedral, whose asymmetrical towers look down over Groenplaats, a tranquil square filled with pavement cafes. Belgian beer is legendary and the local brew is De Koninck, which packs quite a punch.
In the south of the city is the most unusual sight – Wilrijk’s huge Jain Temple, one of the largest outside India. A little further east is Antwerp Airport, efficiently connected by public transport to the Antwerp hotels, guest houses and apartments that are available on Booking.com.

Lots to do - in the 2 days we were there, we visited Antwerp zoo, Chocolate Nation and the Illusion Antwerp. All were brilliant and there was a wide variety of food establishments to choose from including well known brands and independents.

If you're flying into Antwerp, I highly recommend paying a visit to a restaurant located approximately a 15-minute walk from the airport called "Jardin Public". From there, you can catch a tram to the Central Station. In my opinion, the highlights of the trip were definitely the Central Station and the Central Square.
Getting around Antwerp is fairly easy, but you also have the option to rent bicycles or use electric scooters. For dinner, we opted for The Eleventh Commandment / Elfde Gebod and were impressed by the delicious food and speedy service.
I would have loved to extend my stay if possible; perhaps a minimum of a 3-day trip would be ideal. On the return journey to the airport, I opted to take an Uber for convenience.

Female are sleeping in cheap but comfortable 4-beds rooms while male can rent a room with bathroom and king bed more expensive but still reasonable. People from outside are not allowed in unless they check-in. Nice bar with very good beers and a pool & dart room with can be used as well as kitchen and garden. Good combination for the peace of mind.

fashionable city, so many great master pieces to see in Antwerp Royal Museum, you may spend 3-5 hours to explore the new decorated museum.
Museum Van den Bergh is very worthy to visit for museum fans.
This hostel is the best I've ever stayed. It's perfectly clean, with comfortable mattresses, with nice common zones. Here you can find everything you need. But the most beautiful part of the Antwerp City Hostel is its great team. These guys are the best of the world! You will never find such a friendly, helpful, careful team anywhere else. And they all really enjoy their job! I will definitely come back in Antwerp and only in Antwerp City Hostel. Already miss you, guys!
The accomodation was clean and comfortable. I arrived in Antwerp during the evening by train, so when I realized the hotel is located literaly next to the train station, I was very pleased. The receptionist who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and friendly and gave me a bigger room than the one I booked, so that was a pleasant surprise. The Wi-Fi worked well, my room was cleaned with fresh towels every day, so everything was great! Thank you and see you again!
Great location near the cathedral, museums, restaurants, and shops in the old part of Antwerp. Laurie was very helpful, and quickly responded to our questions. Lobby and decor in general were a surprise; very bright and modern although the hotel is in such an old neighborhood. The reception area was welcoming and comfortable, with the breakfast area and bathrooms just behind it. Bed and bed linens were comfy; shower stall had rain shower head plus hand-held wand.
The room is spacious and very comfortable. Good breakfast & lunch are served on an al la carte basis. The hotel is centrally located and well connected to the tram, metro, Antwerp centraal train, metro station, tourist spots and shopping area.
While they don't offer parking, there is Interparking - Roosevelt close to it and it costed us 15 Euros for 3 days. Recommend booking the parking online via inter-parking website for a better discount.
The location of the hotel is excellent, just a short walk down De Keyserlei from Antwerpen Centraal train station. It's next to Leysstraat shopping street, and a 10-minute walk into the old town and the Grote Markt. The room itself was large and comfortable, with a good bathroom. We arrived around 1:30pm and were able to check in early. There's also a supermarket on the corner directly below the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Citybox Antwerp was a big supprise. Large room-even when we booked a small room- with modern bathroom looking out onto garden. The check in and out was easy at the machine. There is a receptionist available in room right behind check in machine. The hotel is very close to the beautifull station, as well as the bus station, and easy walking distance from the main squares.
Hotel has an excellent location, close to all sightseeing spots in Antwerp. The reception staff is amazing, and you get a lot of complementary things (water, chocolate, coffee, tea) which is really nice. The room is not too spacious but it has everything that you need, the bed is comfy, the bathroom clean. Perfect for a short stay.
I was never allowed into the apartment, I was scammed by the woman, I am asking for a refund of my money.
I was force to book for urgent hotel at ibis.
That apartments and ot owners are scammers, they use it to steal money from people.
They are real and full time criminals in Antwerpen locations.
The rooms at the Hilton Antwerp Old Town are very spacious and comfortable. Same we can say about the bathroom. The Conciergerie is a little under-staffed but always solicitous. The breakfast was super.
Maybe with time they will renew/update the premisses. I hope they do for it is a very good hotel.
Excellent location next to the railway station and bus station and just a 10-min ride from Antwerp Airport. Very modern, clean and stylish hotel, room very comfortable and a decent shower. Good range of TV channels in various languages.
The buffet breakfast was excellent with a huge range of choice.
Amazing experience! Me and my colleague came to Antwerp for the first time and the staff shows great hospitality and provided a lot of information to us.
The hotel is located in prefect central location, and also in a quiet neighborhood. Will definitely visit here again!
Amazing hotel in the center of Antwerp, facilities looks new and fresh inside, room contain all needed stuff.
Breakfast was great, large choice and also a possibility to cook waffles by yourself.
Hotel staff is kind and helpful as well, overall - great place.
The location was very convenient, very close to the station, a bit of a walk to the centre but we probably could have used public transport. Antwerp itself is a fascinating city with an interesting history. The hotel staff were all extremely helpful.
This is a brand new hotel located in the very heart of Antwerp, Staff were extremely professional and friendly
We absolutely enjoyed everything about this hotel will definitely return
The hotel is 1 minute away from the Central station in Antwerp. Very comfortable, modern design, quiet - even though there’s constant buzz outside, you can’t hear it - friendly staff.
The breakfast was excellent it would cover all visitors expectations in comfortable surroundings. The hotel is ideally situated for anyone visiting the old part of Antwerp
