I was bikepacking along EV9, the hotel is just a stone throw from the cycling path.
There was enough space to store a bike.

The staff is very friendly, the location is in a quiet neighborhood, but a 5-minute walk to restaurants or everything you need in the city. It may not be modern, but it is clean. It is very practical for just sleeping. The room has a refrigerator and a TV, and you can also have your dog with you. A good choice.

Dead city feeling with odd people and unfriendly personnel at Spar express and Billa and gas stations that no one speaks other than German. If it wasn't for business I would not have ever travelled there. Even at the main train station when you buy coffee people are oddly unfriendly and getting 50c change for the bathroom is a chore both in language and culture aspects. My air conditioner did not work, had the technician come to the room and check, he said just open the window, which is appaulingfor a 4 star hotel. That person should seek another line of work, the reception staff were very good. House keeping was average

The old town has a nice relaxed vibe to it.
The old town has a nice relaxed vibe to it. Streets and squares are full of open air cafes and restaurants. Good for a lazy stroll or relaxed drink under the umbrella. The old town is pretty much one big pedestrian zone, so lovely walks. Since we had our dog with us, we loved the fact the city park was right in the middle of everything.

Small but reach with nice places like old city, town hall, antique shops, traditional restaurants that serve great local vine, large park. Interesting old timers exhibition with great number of renovated vehicles.
