Very clean, warm welcome and restaurant on premices. We stopped there on our way to Italy (NB: hotel equipped with charging stations for EVs). We hadn’t the opportunity to discover the surroundings but the hotel seemed to be ideally located near trekking paths.
Hotel Tannenhof is nestled at the foot of stunning hills in Lechaschau, and yet is just a short walk from the centre of Reutte. A rich and healthy breakfast is available every morning.

The hotel is modern from the outside then when you come inside it’s like a cabin. The dinner was great a steak and a pasta. Breakfast had a lot of variety. And also they are pet friendly🥰

I would recommend the high wire for an adventure. The view of Reutte from above is amazing. And the history of the castle ruins gives an incite to life in the area long ago. There are also very beautiful lakes for walks and the alps for hiking and skiing.

We went for skiing but as with many places this year, the snow wasn't great. We had fun skiing on the available trails. No lift lines. We spent our evenings at the Alpentherme (heated pools and saunas), discount card came with our room. The evening views of the lighted castles, from the heated, outside pool, were amazing! We had only two days so no exploring of the town this time.

It feels more like a local town than the touristy towns like Mittenwald and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We found an excellent bakery, there are good grocery stores, and it’s a nice, quiet little town without the gaudy, touristy type restaurants and loud souvenir shops of some of the other border villages. The best part of it is the access to hiking and nature walks.

Reutte is a charming town in a beautiful mountain setting.
Reutte is a charming town in a beautiful mountain setting. It is close to many attractions in Austria as well as southern Germany. There are stunning palaces, ancient castle ruins, a breathtaking suspension foot bridge, trams to ski resorts and mountain tops, cycling paths, lakes, rivers and forests and much more. Great for any season. Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstien castles are a drive of thirty minutes or less, Linderhof Palace and the tram to the top of Zugspitz are nearby, too. Reutte has year-round attractions.

Reutte was a beautiful location.
Reutte was a beautiful location. Nestled in the valley with green mountains all around. We were there in September. It would be just as beautiful in the winter when all the ski slopes are open and snow has fallen. we enjoyed our stay very much.
Location was right on the Lechweg hiking trail, although a 25 min walk from the next bus stop.
Focus is on cycling and the decor reflects this, but also reflects a lot of care put into this hotel, and a definite aim for what they want to achieve.
A big thank you to the staff for giving me a reduced (1 person) price when my travel partner had to cancel due to illness, so I could refund her a little money, which was nice to be able to do after she had to go home early.
We truly enjoyed our stay in Golden Rose so much!
The hotel was greatly situated in Lechaschau Reutte, very close to some of the great attractions of the area.
The staff was great and extremely helpful
Breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant in general offers great choice for dinner.
There are lots of parking spots available which worked fine even when the hotel was full.
The elder couple that runs the hotel is very friendly. The location and interior, especially breakfast space, make you feel like you are in the traditional Alps house. The view to mountains is gorgeous and the breakfast is good, there is something to choose from for everybody. Enjoyed the stay very much and I would consider staying here again!
location to main rd as travelling . in a pretty village . very quaint. large room we were upgraded. lovely restaurant. we arrived late and they still served us . we had the best weinal Snitchel ! amazing apple strudel. The staff were very friendly and helpful . good breakfast . although we do not need it the hotel had electric car chargers
The room we had had awesome view from windows. Large beds, and nice toilet. Hotel has restaurant and the free breakfast that came with the booking was superb esp the organic honey. Spa was lovely. I actually liked the ambience of the hotel like it was an ancestral house converted into a nice hotel. The antique things are still there.
The entire concept was extremely well-thought-out and the stay was great. The room was clean, modern, big and had everything you need (slippers, bathrobe, coffee maker, ...). The Hotel had a great spa and also a big "playroom" with a pool table, table tennis, darts and lots of games.
Excelent room, very clean. Very friendly hosts. Extraordinary view from the window!!! Although officially the hotel does not provide breakfast, they provide muesli, coffee, tea, milk, so actually a full breakfast.
I definately recomend the hotel!
Village location, usually quiet. 20min of driving to castles in Bavaria, shops available in Reutte.
Freshly renovated clean apartment, a lot of kitchen stuff.
There was everything we needed inside.
Nice terrace. Fresh air. Alps.
We stayed 3 nights and loved the place. Very clean, great installation, good breakfast and the staff were very friendly.
The location is also great, good connection to Reutte and excellent to the sky resort.
Breakfast was AWESOME. The little town is very cute and authentic. We plan to reserve a couple of nights the next time on vacation in Austria. The sky bridge and castle ruins are wonderful attractions.
Loved everything about this hotel. Perfectly located, present and friendly owner and the dining room food was absolutely delicious. Probably the best we’d had on our entire two week vacation!
Very welcoming staff, proximity to outdoor attractions, included breakfast was good, and the options for dinner were good German/Austrian meals and the hotel was family/child friendly.
Accommodation is modest but okay for a short stay. Friendly staff. Dinner at the hotel restaurante is great. The hotel is located in a beautiful area and close to many facilities.
What a surprise this hotel, everything is really well organized and overthought. Very clean, very comfortable bed, very friendly staff. A big recommendation for this pension.
Wonderful restaurant manager that took very good care of us. Excellent food and local Austrian wines. Very accommodating as we were a group of 8. We would come back anytime.
