Rivalago B&B er nýuppgert gistiheimili sem er staðsett í Cannobio, 18 km frá Piazza Grande Locarno og státar af bar og útsýni yfir vatnið. The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Al San Michele býður upp á herbergi í Stresa. Þetta gistihús býður upp á farangursgeymslu og ókeypis WiFi. Everything is just wonderful in this lovely house. It's super cozy, clean and bright. Location is more than perfect just across the lake and the ferry stop and 5 mins from city center as well. The stuff is extremely kind and welcoming. Would definitely go there again. Thank you and keep going.

Ca Meison er nýlega enduruppgert gistiheimili í Cannobio, í sögulegri byggingu, 14 km frá Piazza Grande Locarno. Það býður upp á einkastrandsvæði og ókeypis reiðhjól. Everything was prefect. The house, the breakfast, the location, Francesca and her Mom were outstanding and nothing was too much to ask.

B&B VILLA PREZIOSA LAGO MAGGIORE býður upp á sameiginlega setustofu og gistirými í Lesa. Gistirýmið er með verönd og útsýni yfir vatnið. Excellent place, comfortable and newly renovated room, perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious. Very quiet place, just a 10 minutes walk to the city center and the train station. Recommended!!!

Casa Castagna 1620 er gistiheimili sem er til húsa í sögulegri byggingu í Mergozzo, 15 km frá Borromean-eyjunum. Það státar af verönd og fjallaútsýni. This hotel is a true jewel at the lake Mergozzo. The owners are present daily, at least in the evening. Everybody has been very friendly and helpful, from arrival to departure. Parking is available nearby (5 minutes walk), loading and unloading of baggage is possible in front of the hotel. The entire building (which has been orginally erected in 1620, hence the name) has been fully refurbished until one year ago and is maintained in perfect condition. A minor problem with the shower drain in our room has been fixed within a few hours. Our small dog was welcome as well and felt at home immediately. The food is very tasty, the champagne list (!) runs more than ten pages, followed by a very impressive wine list. This is a place for enthusiasts. If you want to have a meal at other places, there are many opportunities in close walking distance. We have had a wonderful week at Casa Castagna 1620 and will definitely come back. Antico Borgo B&B er staðsett á göngusvæðinu í sögulega miðbæ Cannobio, 21 km frá Lugano, en það býður upp á sameiginlega setustofu og ókeypis WiFi. We had a lovely stay at this Air B&B. Great location. Super clean and all updated. We were on the top floor and had a nice terrace. Easy walk to shops/restaurants. Fabulous breakfast. Comfy beds and nice linens. But the BEST thing was the innkeepers. Chiara and Francesco were so friendly and helpful. A truly rare find - do stay here if you have the opportunity. You won't regret it.

DIMORA SCURONE í Cannobio býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna, garð og bar. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir rólega götu og er 18 km frá golfklúbbnum Patriziale Ascona. Wonderful location, we loved the hotel and the family who run the hotel were wonderful and friendly! The breakfast was AMAZING!

Ratto del Gallo er staðsett í 2,6 km fjarlægð frá Borromean-eyjum og býður upp á garð, verönd og gistirými með svölum og ókeypis WiFi. Extremely kind and helpful Mrs Orsetta, the view, the house design & decor, exact description & suggestion, tasty & unique breakfast, and much more alike. For dinner, go to Cardini, you won't regret.

Cascina Canée er staðsett í Angera í Lombardy, 38 km frá Monastero di Torba og 44 km frá Mendrisio-stöðinni. Gististaðurinn er með garð. The place was exquisite! Beutiful, peacful, quiet. Serounded by green and natural beuty, with a lovely view. The place speaks of quality and attention to details. The hosts were most welcoming, warm, interesting to talk to, and extreemly helpful with whatever we asked. They are gorgeous and fine cooks, and serves home made restuarant like dinner and service - we felt like we arrived to heaven and are eating in a 5 stars place. I'm an Israrli, and my travel partner is from NYC - and we both so deeply appriciated the very special place, and felt we would like to come back and of course let our friends know about it with the highest rec omandations.
