Norma the cleaning lady was very friendly and caring just like Costanzo. Definetely Il Truciolo is the best place to stay when visiting Ana Capri. The room has a mini kitchen and a fridge. Il truciolo is walking distance from vía orlandi shops in Ana capri. Walking distance from the bus if you want to visit Capri Center for all the fine stores or visit the Marina grande for the around island , grutta azzura tour.

The owner, Salvatore is very kind, helpful and a true host. He took the time to explain everything about the island which was very helpful. The breakfast is very delicious and we enjoyed having breakfast in the garden. I normally don’t like hotel breakfasts but at casa astra it’s very fresh and delicious. We recommend every one who is interested in visiting Capri to stay at Casa Astra. The B&B is very close to the historical centre of Anacapri (20 min. walk), close to the bus terminal that takes you practically to every corner of the island. Fantastic location about 10 minutes walk from Marina Grande(uphill). Newly and smartly renovated 3 bedroom apartment that was super comfortable. Owners met on arrival and were very helpful. Apartment is fully furnished to include the kitchen and each room has a small fridge with water in it. Owners gave us a bottle of Prosecco for our anniversary, which was thoughtful and unexpected. Some commenters mentioned the lack of windows/light/view in the apartment commensurate with the price, but come on, this is Capri, where everything is double the price of mainland Italy so this facet didn't bother me. Plus, how much time do you spend in your room while on Capri. We only slept there, had a few pre-dinner drinks, and cooked breakfast there. Apartment overall was super comfortable and everything was brand new. Location was the greatest asset and there is a bus stop and medium size market directly across the street which was a plus. We walked back and forth to Marina Grande and took the funicular from Marina Grande to Capri center. It worked out perfectly. If you want a view of the island and ocean from your room, you won't find one for <200 Euros this close to Marina Grande, so in retrospect, this place was value for money given the time of year and location. Would definitely stay here again. Capri was beautiful and the fact that we don't really have to take the bus or taxi anywhere based on our location was a definite plus.

He was super welcoming, friendly, helpful, and gave wonderful recommendations for the island to see all it’s beauty. My sister and I stayed for 2 nights and we felt very safe and comfortable. He even got gluten free bread to accommodate my sister with her allergy! I wish we could have stayed longer but we will most definitely be back!
