The owner really knows the area well and gave us great travel and shopping advice. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was excellent. Everything was clean and neat and the house is beautiful, like a modernized country manor. Very quiet area, with a pleasant, public beach and nature reserve about 10 minutes drive from the house. Loved being able to park in the courtyard. We walked to restaurants nearby, for dinner, and then we could both enjoy some wine.

This has been my best experience with booking so far in the years I've been using it. Ms. Lucia is absolutely charming, pleasant, smiling, and helpful. The accommodation was absolutely great. After three days, we said goodbye to her, feeling like we were leaving a family member. The city of Monfalcone is an ideal starting point for a trip to Trieste, the beaches of Sistine, or to the near hills.

She picked us up from the train station and let us into the house, showing us around to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had everything we needed. She even left drinks and little treats for us, knowing that we would be hungry when we arrived. She was so hospitable, she even drove us to the airport at 5am the next morning!! Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to explore Trieste or anywhere nearby. It was exceptionally easy and cheap to get to by train. We are so satisfied with our stay!
