We stayed in Maison Silvia for 6 nights - our stay was really excellent and as good as a 5-star Hotel! The accomoodation is beautifully decorated, tastefull and so comfortable. All the furnishings and fittings are to a very high standard with great attention to detail. Silvia serves a perfect breakfast delivered to your room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Silvia who is a wonderful, kind and helpful hostess. Silvia offered to pick us up from Marco Polo airport and drop us off at the airport again at a very reasonable rate and saved a lot of time. Trains and buses would also work but that would be easier when you know the area. We loved using the No 4 bus to visit and explore Treviso centre. Treviso is a very calm and pleasant city and the bus stop is only 100m from the Maison. This bus also takes you to the railway station for trains. Download the MOM app for the bus timetable and by the tickets in advance at a Tabacchi. The trains were frequent and very convenient for us to make day visits the amazing Padua and Venice. We had a crowded wet day in Venice and enjoyed Padua much more. We were able to get the 112 subarban bus to visit the beautiful town of Asolo - which involved a half hour climb up the road from Ca'Vescovo stop. Suburban bus tickets are needed for this trip. Others may find it more convenient to hire a car to tour the area. We really enjoyed using Silvia's 2 city bikes for the 5km journey into town - cycling paths are easily used. For cycling enthusiasts the Pinarello headquarters and show room is only 10 mins from Silvia's by bike.

The house itself, filled with meticulously maintained antique furniture, transports you directly into history. The sprawling garden is a paradise of verdant landscapes, complete with a serene lake and an exquisite church nestled amidst it. Every morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast that perfectly set the tone for the day. What made our stay even more special was the owner. Having grown up in this beautiful house, he shred some background stories, he was the epitome of humility and had desire to help with any need. To top it all off, based on the owner's recommendation, we dined at a nearby local restaurant run by a charming old lady. It's evident she pours her heart into every dish, making the culinary experience one to remember. In summary, this place is a remarkable blend of history, character, and natural beauty. We, a family of five, found it enchanting, and I can wholeheartedly say it's an experience we'll cherish forever. 10/10.

Great hotel, Luca (the owner I think) was a great man, very nice and great host. Stayed for one night unfortunately got there as the sun had gone down so the pool was chilly but the outdoor area was lovely. Beds were great, very comfortable. If you don’t have a car the 120 bus drops you and picks you up at the door so ideal if you want to head into town and have some drinks. We had the included breakfast which was bellisimo, continental with speciality coffee and eggs cooked to order and freshly cut fruit was great, really. Cheers again Luca you are awesome !!!
