Beautifully situated among the historic, narrow, winding pedestrian-only streets, this two-story apartment is a gem. Right where you want to be for walking in the town, down to the lake....just perfect. My wife and I can't wait to go back. Parking is easy, as is everything else form getting the keys to getting around. The host went out of her way to provide videos on how to get to the front door, collect the keys, and so much info re where to go and what to do for activities and eating out. We have become friends. Barrea is fantastic. Nowhere near as busy as Villetta di Barrea...perfectly representative of what people expect a small town on a hill in Italy to be, and this apartment is ideal to make the best of anyone's stay there. Go for it!
