We stayed 4 nights in B&B La Casetta and what a very nice stay we had! First and foremost the host: Guisy was simply the most magnificent host we could ask for. She was always willing to make us comfortable, providing whatever we could ask for, definitely a good example of the Sicilian hospitality. The room we stayed in was unique, with volcanic rock on the walls, bed on a wood mezzanine, simply fantastic! The location is very good, in a calm and clean neighborhood, close to Catania's city center, Etna and the beaches of the region.

Carmello was an amazing host. We were delayed and it was no trouble to him. He waited until 2 am for us to arrive to give us the keys. He checked on us throughout our stay. Ok the last day he kindly took us into Catania. I would say you need a car when visiting as public transport isn’t great.

The apartment is extremely clean, as we travel during the winter time, she turned on the heating before we arrived. all the beds and blanket is very comfortable and warm. Even though it is a small town, a bit challenging on driving at night. but everything is fabulous! there is pastry shop in the neighborhood next to church, is a hidden gem. making sure you visit there too!
