It is a converted seminary (school for training priests) - you will be staying in an austere former student room - so don't expect space or luxury. For me everything was fine - especially the low price and the location (quiet square, close to the town centre, but close enough to the edge of town I could go for an evening jog in countryside).

Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area. Had a tasting of hazelnut products in town.
Would have like more time to do the underground Alba tour of the Roman remains of the old town.
Would loved to have done a tour of the Ferrero factory but that is not an option. Loved that the smell of Nutella was in the air as soon as we got out of the car in the carparks outside of the pedestrian centre,

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city! We did the Alba underground tour to explore the roman and medieval ruins. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and emerged us into the ancient history of Alba. The truffle festival was the an excellent peak: amazing food and wine!

lovely town of 30,000 people. the truffle festival was going on, something about hazelnuts, too and people came here just for the gourmet food and superior wine. we also enjoyed the surrounding Langhe valley which is a UNESCO Heritage Site because of its beautiful vistas.

Visited during the excitement of the international white truffle fair and Alba was full of life and culture! The food and wine we had here was the best we had in all of Italy. Do not miss Alba if you’re looking for authentic Italy.

The capital of wine region of Langhe (Barolo, Barbaresco, Roero), vibrating, full of restaurants, wine bars, deli shops. If You visit it during Truffle fair, You can enjoy the markets and seasonal truffle dishes everywhere ! For beer lovers there is also craft brewery. Thanks to central location in the area, Alba is ideal base for wine trips, bike trips, etc.

I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba...
I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba is a real gem. This was my fourth time to the Alba area and while it had been 9 years since my last stay little had changed except it got better! Alba and its people are charming, elegant, friendly, welcoming with beautifully preserved buildings, streets and shops. The surrounding hill towns for 50 plus kilometres all around are full of beautiful sites, people, wine and food. The history of Alba and Piedmont in general is very interesting particularly for its role in Italian confederation in 1862. It is so much better priced than other more popular tourist destinations in Italy. On top of that the scenery in the Langhe region is stunning and breathtakingly beautiful. The regional food is as good as it gets and the red wine is very affordable and the best in Italy for our tastes. I highly recommend to everyone to visit this under appreciated part of Italy as often as you can. I WILL be back!!
Quite literally everything, but by far Fabricio and his wife were amazing. From picking us up at the train station, arranging cars for us (a Maserati no less!) and even taking us to Asti for our next train he was an absolute joy. The hospitality was top notch and we absolutely plan to come back to Piedmont and would stay at Villa Favorita again. Beyond the hospitality the location is great, stunning views of the hills of Alba, and a delicious breakfast with truffles every morning. One of the best places we have ever stayed!
It was a perfectly acceptable place to stay & we were very happy….also incredibly reasonably priced! There is obviously pride in keeping the hotel clean & comfortable. Nice to have a kitchenette for home cooked meals. I liked how responsible the hotel was about recycling. The bathroom was very modern & shower was excellent. Our beds were made immaculately with nice linens & towels were of a v high quality which was greatly appreciated. Also nice to have 2 fans in our room.
Very spacious and has a very nice balcony and terrace. It has a designated covered parking space. What's more, it is only 10-min walking distance from Alba city center. But above all... The host is excellent! I forgot something in the apartment after the check-out and he went the extra mile to find it and return it back to me the next day. Very pleasent experience, highly recommended!
Great location. Excellent price, especially for Alba. Breakfast was not elaborate but well worth €9. Staff was exceptional. They helped me find a rental car for 3 days after online searches yielded no results. a very nice VW T-Cross. Excellent free secure parking. Good elevator. Nice chapel. It is a repurposed Seminary. Fantastic. Bathroom was very spacious.
The breakfast was included each morning and was perfect to start the day. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and gave great advice on the restaurants in the surrounding areas. We had a car so went and saw as much of the nearby towns of Nieve, Barolo, Alba and Barbaresco as possible. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable.
The location of the hotel really was excellent and it was easy to explore Alba and the villages around it. There was a large free parking space nearby, which was very convenient for us. The apartment was very clean and warm even though it was quite cold outside during the nights. We had a great stay, thanks!
It’s in a perfect position right in the center of Alba, but still feels tucked away and private. The apartments are so charming and full of character, and Luigi has thought of everything when it comes to making his guests feel right at home. I can’t think of a better place to stay in Alba or in Le Langhe!
We were met by Maria. She was a little concerned that we might have parked somewhere where we would be ticketed, so she followed us out to the car to make sure we were ok. Nothing was too much trouble. A fantastic experience.
In addition, the hotel is in a great location for seeing the rest of Alba.
This location is remarkable - literally steps away from everything in Alba. The apartment was clean and very spacious. We loved the big open windows and functional little kitchen. Huge bedroom with a fairly comfortable bed (but not so much the linens). Really appreciated the lift!
The room and property was beautifully decorated, perfectly laid out, and immaculate! Alberto was an amazing host, with great enthusiasm and tips and things to do in Alba. He was extremely helpful and made great recommendations for dinners, and even made reservations for me!
Such a lovely, charming place! Set on a panoramic hilltop above the city of Alba, with gorgeous views, also of the Alps in the background. The owners could not have been more friendly, or gracious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Really wonderful stay!
Beautiful family hotel embedded by wine fields. Very nice staff, atmospheric room. The view from the French balcony in the room was great but the view from the outdoor breakfast area even more stunning! The breakfast was very good, something that is rare in Italy.
