The clock in the room was very loud, we had to take the battery out. But apart from this everything was wonderful

Only stayed over on a Tuesday night, plenty of places to eat, we ate at a wonderful Italian restaurant in the square, it was busy which is a good sign and the food was excellent. There is a lovely church in the square and coffee shops to chill in. Easy to get to from main link roads. The roads in Sleaford are very busy at times but it is an old town and the roads reflect this.

Probably good to do a wee bit of research before you go.
Probably good to do a wee bit of research before you go. The only thing we knew about it was the Sleaford Mods spawned from the town!
There is a farmer's market first Saturday in the month. A range of restaurants and shops. Restaurants are busy on a Friday night and you need to book in advance. One way system takes a bit of getting used to.

Lovely little place.
Facilities good. Plenty of little shops and pubs and cafes.
Has a Wetherspoons for something cheap and quick but a nice restaurant in market square for something a bit more special.
Nice little riverside cafes.

When we were in Sleaford it poured with rain which spoiled our experience this time. Lovely weather other days visiting surrounding villages Kirkby-la-Thorpe, Asgarby, Ewerby.
We stayed at Finchhatton Arms in Ewerby, it was an excellent small, independent hotel, good food, friendly staff.

Not a place I normally would have considered going to before. We went for another reason but having now been, would definitely visit again. A very interesting town with a lot of history and interesting buildings. Lots of places to eat, ie pubs, restaurants and cafes. I would say a great place for a long weekend.

The property is not in Sleaford itself.
The property is not in Sleaford itself. It’s in a village called Ewerby. The hotel has lots of history which is detailed in a book in the room. There are also many photos scattered around showing how it used to look. Ewerby is a lovely quiet village with a church, a pub and some pretty houses. It was nice for a short stroll. Sleaford itself is a short drive away along country lanes. Sleaford is a much bigger town with a high street packed with shops. There was a nice river there and you could stroll along the banks viewing all the wildlife.
Lovely woman who did breakfasts and booked me in. Bed was comfy, room plenty big enough. Breakfast was very nice, and they handled all my dietary requirements perfectly - so good! 1 hour free parking in the car park was helfpul, and the staff were always helpful gettijg tickets to put in the car. Car patk had plenty of space right behind the b+b, so it wasn't like leaving your car in an open car park. Very helpful, pleasant and comfy.
We had a king size room which had tons of space, with a very large, very comfortable bed, we slept very well indeed. What I liked about the room and the bathroom was that it was decorated to match the building and not in a super modern, sterile way.
The only outside noise was from the train line next to the hotel but as Sleaford isn't a busy station, it wasn't a problem.
Everything! Warm welcome from the staff. They couldn't be more friendly and attentive. Quirky place to stay. Fantastic outdoor area. The rooms have everything. Comfortable, spotless and the extra little touches. Great menu and choice of beverages. Hayley is lovely and makes the best breakfast. We will be back. Couldn't fault it.
check in quick n easy.. bar and entertainment at night a great bonus. band stopped playing at midnight and then place was so quiet. breakfast quality produce used. regular visitor to sleaford so plenty of hotels stopped in around the area defo in top 2 within 10 mile radius. great place. will be back..
Located on the Main Street in Sleaford it is central for the town with easy access routes to the coast or inland. The restaurant gives ample portions of food, well presented. The staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble for them. I will be staying with them again when next in the area.
I absolutely loved this place! It was really lovely and I'm so happy I stumbled upon the listing. The location was great. It was easy to find and parking was not a problem. There were lovely touches throughout and lots of information for the cottage and surrounding areas.
The proprietors have tried hard to make the rooms quirky, the novelty items make the bedrooms interesting. Beds were ok.
It's very handy if you need to be in Sleaford, which we did.
The butter and the sausages at breakfast were very nice.
Wide range of cereal and fruit available, plenty of snacks, tea and coffee and infused drinks in room, more than you could expect. Better than some 5star hotels. I would highly recommend and if needed will certainly stay again.
location was fantastic, my English family had joked about Sleaford being in the middle of no ware but actually worked out great, Sleaford is a beautiful market town close to Linkon and trains 1hr to london and york
Breakfast was first class and plenty full always cooked fresh and hot. The hotel location is central with good parking facilitates.
Staff very friendly and helpful could not of asked for better
An absolute gem of a place for a short stay in Sleaford - clean, modern, comfortable with everything you need. Great communication from the hosts, easy access and central location.
Perfect location, comfortable beds, super power shower, courteous friendly helpful Manager Shannon, I will definitely use this hotel again and highly recommend!
