The old town is very beautiful and really amazing...
The old town is very beautiful and really amazing restaurants with very good food and wine. The old architecture is well kept and it is well worth a visit. Restaurant Civico 27 is a bit pricey but the service and food is amazing.

I stayed in a place (apartment) that smelled quite bad on...
I stayed in a place (apartment) that smelled quite bad on entry. The apartment was on the last floor with no lift access. It wasn’t anywhere near the centre. Went for a walk to get some food. Everything was closed. Lucky after a very long walk to find a pizza place. The shower was so small you could move much without hitting the very poorly installed plastic doors. Very disappointed.

Warm and welcoming, spoke good English, tremendous attention to detail. Didn’t like the stairs as we need to take dogs outside at difficult times day and night, however, we coped ok. The little balcony was perfect. The breakfast was excellent catering for all tastes.KarenFrance

The room was quite large and the spacious balcony allowed us to enjoy the city views and cool winter air. The heating was sufficient and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was simple, but everything was of excellent quality. Their coffees were exquisite. The Novara station is also just a 2 minute walk away, so it’s very convenient for quick visits to cities like Milan 😊

The decor is quirky and makes a nice change from cramped, bland hotels of this price . The staff were very friendly and hospitable. It's a short walk into the centre and right next to carrefour which is great for stocking up for your onward car journey . You can park on the street for free or there is a car park for a small charge. It's very dog friendly.
