We stayed at Hotel Santhiya for the third time and it did not disappoint again. Transfer from and to the airport, breakfast, staff, beautiful gardens, snorkeling, trips around the island.. and what we love most - the view from our room to the mountains and, of course, the pool, which was part of our room and from which we enjoyed the beautiful view 🙂

Very good place to stay. We were there with family and everyone enjoyed the time in Aira. Big and comfortable king-size beds, amazing view, very clean. Nice stuff, good service and fantastic breakfasts. Very nice pool area. We will return one day. Definitely recommend!

The two pools were nice and the breakfast was pretty standard (in a good way for Thailand breakfast buffets). Has a laundry, massage and 7 eleven right by the hotel which is handy

Bed head was badly damaged and looked like a fight or something had occurred but the hotel didn't bother to repair or put me in another room. I arrived on Friday, a light in the bathroom was out, safe was locked, tv didn't work, room key didn't work (the lobby is a long way from the room and they don't answer the phone...ever if you call the lobby) this was communicated to the manager on duty on Saturday and was not fixed until the following Wednesday. I'm single and this was the first time I'd ever been requested to pay 1000 Baht if I brought someone to my hotel...which I've never had happen anywhere else in the world let alone in Thailand. Twice my room wasn't cleaned despite being in my room with the "please service" light on. There was no menu for room service as they have a QR code but my room didn't have one and several times I tried to order I got the same response, "you order using the room service QR code". I asked to get one on the Saturday but this never happened and I has to steal it from the restaurant. The worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life with little done by the manager who seemed almost annoyed when I tried to get him to assist me with resolving these issues. For the record, I'm not a novice traveller but the director of Operations for a hospitality group and also have experience working in hotels. A close look needs to be made into the managers operating the hotel and the standards being set there as the facilities are only a small piece of the puzzle when it comes to a good hotel experience. Extremely disappointed and an awful holiday experience.

Cant complain just for the price... Well, I just stayed there for few hours, to have a place to take a shawer, keep my bagage safe and go out for drinks and Food in Rambutrri and Khaosan. So I booked a room, it clearly said small room, No AC, Fan Only... Ididnt care as I wasn't planning to sleep there. But that was wors than expected! It was like Sauna too hot!!! And the room is tiny, just the single bed fits in the room... (not a problem for me) but too hot! How can someone sleep there?so, f you are staying there make sure to ask for room with AC. Other than that its fine.

The room was uninspiring and ill equipped. There are no pictures on the wall, paint peeling off the wall, ugly sealant from a poor past repair job, the towels were old and tatty, there was no knife in the kitchen, the wifi was so slow it was often usable; these are some of the features that let it down. There are easy fixes and a bit of care could improve customer experience with this property.
