Location is easy to find. It's not that close to most of the attractions but that gives you a really good living experience as people there are local and you can find the local restaurants around there. The staff are really nice and they speak good English. No problems with communication. I felt really comfortable since entering the entrance. They even offer attractions and food recommendations at the entrance. You can scan the QR code to get it. The space of the room is totally the same as the pictures. That's good, but it will be hard for you if you use the normal 2-side opened luggage. I'm lucky that I use the 1-side opened luggage, so the space suits me. The bed is not the super soft one, which is my favorite. The shared toilets and shower rooms are all clean.

We had a great stay in this little ryokan run by a friendly old lady who goes out of her way to make travellers feel welcome. It's an old house with an outdoor hot spring (we had the place to ourselves!). In the evening you can have dinner in the house (various options). The breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an authentic experience in the area. You might need a car if you want to reach the ryokan easily.

The room was quite cosy and small, it is good for one or two nights only. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Nice bathroom. The hotel is near a main road and train line so there was a little bit of noise but not as much as you would expect. The location is excellent and there are plenty of amenities, transport and entertainment nearby.

Breakfast is served from 7-10am. We went down at 8:30am and there were only two pieces of fruit left and a few remaining pieces of bread and pastries amongst other things. There were still people arriving and food was not being replenished.

Really nice owners and great location, close to a tram stop and JR station, which makes it perfect for a trip to Mount Aso. Also in a quite street so you can get a good nights sleep. The room was a good size and I would recommend the breakfast which was first class. Thank you, I really enjoyed my stay at Tamaki Ryokan.

The hotel was close to a JR station and right beside the subway. Also close to an area with good nightlife. The room was small, but this was to be expected. Staff were very helpful and also let me borrow a lower adaptor. I liked how they had a nice seating area right beside the laundry.

Easy to reach, room good size for Japan, clean, friendly, ice machine in the library. Breakfast is a good array of Western and japanese Things. Free Coffee/Tea all Day.

Self registering at front desk, machine set up for me to scan my passport and type in my details. Didn't like the impersonal way of it. Also though my room was ready and if I wanted to go to my room half an hour early they were going to charge me $7.
