There were clear instructions on how to check in. The property owner are responsive to all the questions we asked via the booking.com chat with the property. All that we need for our stay are available is in this property. Parking is also good.

The staff is very friendly, and they fixed all of our problems. The room was nice, even if a little bit smaller than expected from the pictures. The kitchen had all the supplies. It was a good situation, cheaper than the rest of Banff.

The place was not the cleanest, to be honest. The shuttle service is nice, but it's only a few times a day (the first one at 8.40, the following one at midday... I suggest putting at least one earlier and one in mid morning). The biggest problem was the non-existent WiFi. There's not a good phone coverage in the area, and the WiFi was fundamental to organise things, but it was not working at all.

They have very nice staff. Though I forgot to check out, when I wrote to them via the chat with property, they could settlel everything for me and return my damage deposit.

Honestly nothing bad per se but it’s definitely not value for money. It is very expensive (I paid CAD410 / €360 for one night) and neither the room nor the experience is worth it. The room is very basic and quaint, the lock on my door didn’t function properly/easily, the wifi was too wonky to watch a video on my side of the house, and there is no service apart from breakfast. For this price I’d rather pay for a proper hotel.

Room service was bad. Neither wine we ordered from their menu was available and the substitutes were delivered in a brown paper bag with no glasses! Not impressed for such an expensive hotel.

Checking was painfully slow. We booked a room with "partial lake view" and we were given a room with a view of rubbish bins. We're told there was nothing else available. Only when we absolutely refused to accept the room was something else found. This was upsetting and stressful for my husband's 75th birthday celebration
