It's my home town, but it's a little hard to recommend it to...
It's my home town, but it's a little hard to recommend it to tourists, having seen other places around the world and in Poland. It's got a few little gems of older architecture, churches etc, but very little nightlife and really not much to do beyond a day trip. A lot of social life has moved out of the Old Town into the newer high-rise part of the city and beyond that into the suburbs and villages nearby so it feels really empty and devoid of life, even on a weekend.

A small beautiful country town. I spent one night during a trip to the country and very much enjoyed the evening walk in the old town square and the breakfast in fabryka in front of the train station.

There's no kitchen in the room but we could use the fridge and microwave oven on the first floor. We enjoyed the cleanliness and the quiet location. There're also food stores some 500m away from the guesthouse. Overall great choice if you're travelling by car!
