We stayed in a very comfortable and modern room in the new extension part of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast consisted of cereals, fruit juices and a full English breakfast. No sooner had it been ordered and then it appeared. The girl taking breakfast orders was very friendly and helpful.

The outstanding feature of this hotel is the helpfulness of the staff. Although there is no traditional reception, I met far more staff than usual at a hotel. Steph and Layla helped me settle in and the cleaning ladies stocked up the rapidly depleted biscuits. I also had a chat with the manageress. So the staff were really welcoming, and reflected the friendly behaviour of Preston people. This hotel is perfect if you need to be in Preston centre near the railway.
